Ridemakerz Xtreme Customz Spider-man Starter Kit

This awesome Ridemakerz Xtreme Customz Spider-man Starter Kit arrived a few days ago. Initial reaction was how hard was this going to be to complete and customize? We have dealt with somewhat similar kits from other companies over the years and you needed a lot of patience to get your car customized especially since a lot of them required tools or other supplies.

Lets start with what's in the package. This is a single vehicle Starter Kit which is 1:48 Scale. Each kit comes with the following:
  • Body
  • Adjustable Chassis
  • 4 piece set of reversible rims
  • 4 piece set of tires
  • Spoiler
  • 2 piece set of sidepipes
  • Exclusive Accessory
  • Instructions

Since we have the Spider-man kit, our exclusive was the Web-Shooting Launchers that you attached to the side of your car (basically replaces the sidepipes).

The Chassis is adjustable into 4 different modes - Race, Jacked, Lifted & Off-Road.

The rims are reversible so in our case we had all red or chrome/red. For our demo we chose all red to match the spiderman theme.

It took us less than 5 minutes to get everything put together. It's really easy. No tools required. The parts are interchangeable with parts from other 1:48 scale kits.

The single kit like this Spider-man version will cost $9.99. These will make awesome gifts for your kids that loves to build cars. There are also Swap Sets (2-vehicle sets) for $19.99 or larger car kits 1:18 scale for $34.99. These are for Children ages 5+.

Get these sets at CVS, Amazon.com, ToysRus, Toysrus.com and Costco.

Overall, packaging was great. No crazy twisty ties. Just a couple of tiny rubber bands holding the spoiler / sidepipes. These kits are very affordable. Easy to put together and fun to play with. If you have more than one kit, you can swap out parts as long as they are the same scale.
These make great gifts and they also have other Marvel Characters such as Black Spider-Man, Iron-Man & Venom. More info on Xtremecustomz can be found HERE.

Special thanks to Ridemakerz & Ali at FPR.
