NOBILITY: The Series to Launch at SDCC

Get ready to be amazed by the stellar cast bringing "NOBILITY," an out-of-the--box new dramedy from Cowboy Errant Pictures set 700 years in the future, to life. The concept revolves around the C.A.S. Nobility, "humanity's most powerful starship with a crew, that's, well, anything but noble.“ The incredible cast is composed of sci-fi legends from Walter Koenig (“Star Trek: TOS”, “Babylon 5″) to Doug Jones ("Hellboy" series, "The Time Machine") and Adrienne Wilkinson (“Xena”, “Star Wars: Clone Wars”), Cas Anvar (“Assassin’s Creed,” "Diana," “Castle”),  James Kyson (“Heroes”) and Christopher Judge ("Stargate,""Dark Knight Rises"). 
 
Real people existing in a real world with consequences for their actions – that is what’s at the core of “Nobility.”  Described as “Firefly” meets “The Office,” “Nobility” uses clever comedic scenarios -- as the best of science fiction-based films like “Back to the Future,” “Indiana Jones,” “Firefly,” “Buffy,” and “Doctor Who” have done -- as a means to open the door to an audience’s heart. They succeed on every level.

“Nobility” is about fulfilling each episode's arc and potential via the crazy actions of its wacky crew. The audience will peek into the lives of the ship's crew as they overcome their personal trials. The audience's journey is fulfilled -- along with the crew's mission -- by watching each character face the challenges of the broken world around them and then rise to the occasion of repairing it when everyone else has lost faith. "Nobility" does, in fact, fulfill the void left from series running now only in repeats such as “Star Trek” and “Firefly.”

"NOBILITY: THE SERIES" Panel:  Friday, July 25^th, 7:30-8:30pm Room 5AB (San Diego Convention Center)

To premiere the new sci-fi series Nobility, the cast-including Doug Jones (Falling Skies, Pan's Labyrinth), Walter Koenig (Star Trek: TOS, Babylon 5), Cas Anvar (Assassin'sCreed, Lost), Adrienne Wilkinson (Xena: Warrior Princess, Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Darren Jacobs (Starship: Rising), and James Kyson (Heroes)-will appear in character to entertain you. The second half of the panel will be a Q&A with the cast, director Neil Johnson (Starship: Rising) and series creator E. J. De la Pena (Jingle All the Way, Run Ronnie Run, Boy Meets World). Attendees will be captivated by the antics of the misfit crew of the Starship Nobility as they debut a teaser for this action-packed new series while they interact directly with the audience and deal with a surprise from some scheming series villains!
