Oceanus is really a film about two people in love, set in the middle of the ocean with the sky literally falling around them,” said Jeffrey Morris, founder and CEO, FutureDude Entertainment. “Their survival and that of their underwater world rests on their shoulders, as they navigate unforeseen twists and turns.”

Oceanus is set in the year 2029 in a city beneath the sea. The Oceanus Research facility houses more than 300 scientists and engineers, including biologist Dr. Erin Kendall and her husband, aquatic engineer Sam Jordan. The couple travel away from the base to test a breakthrough in interspecies communications when a cataclysm occurs. What happens next has moviegoers on the edge of their seats.

Acclaimed star of film, stage and small screen, Bruce Davison plays Commander Mitch Conrad. Stage and screen actor Megan Dodds stars as Dr. Kendall, and Sharif Atkins, of Guardians of the Galaxy, is Sam Jordan. The distinctive voice of veteran actor Malcolm McDowell, known in sci-fi circles as Dr. Tolian Soran who killed Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek: Generations, is featured as Triton.

Vimeo streaming of part one of Oceanus is available as of July 6. Rent it for $1.99 or own it starting at $3.99 for standard format or $4.99 in high definition. The $14.99 Blu-ray DVD, which features the film and soundtrack together, is for sale in the booth and on Amazon.

FutureDude Entertainment’s animated action film short Parallel Man: Infinite Pursuit will also be playing in booth #4423, and fans are invited to download the free mobile device video game Parallel Man: World Jumper which is also available at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If comic books are of interest, the trade paperback is available for purchase for $25.00 and features the seven-issue comic book mini-series Parallel Man: Invasion America.

The Parallel Man: Infinite Pursuit story follows Commander Nick Morgan — an intelligence agent from an evil version of America in an alternate universe. His government, known as The Ascendancy, has attacked and enslaved eleven other Earths and has its sights set on our world as their next target. Nick, and his companion Atlas, seeks out the leaders of a former rebellion known as The Futurists  for their assistance in assembling a legendary weapon that could stop the Ascendancy forever.

Actor John Cho, star of J.J. Abrams StarTrek reboot, lends his voice to Nick Morgan. His sidekick, Atlas, is voiced by veteran actor Lance Reddick, most recently seen in Fox’s Fringe. And Ming-Na Wen, currently Agent Melinda May in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, voices Major Mackenzie Cartwright.
