SDCC 2026 Recap

Another year of SDCC has come and gone in a blink of an eye. The weather was too humid this year on top of the heat. We got pretty much all the exclusives that we wanted. We did as many offsites that we could this year. The one thing that really stood out was that there were hardly any offsite activations behind the convention center this year besides Adult Swim. FX usually has a big presence but this year their spot was empty. There was an official comic con merch booth in their spot as well spots for the AHS ice cream truck and photo op stand. Hulu's Animayhem moved to the MKL Promenade. The space was smaller than previous years so that meant downsizing. It seemed like there were less offsites or that they condensed them all to the other side of the street of the convention center. Lines were still long for most of them. We say this every year that there is tons of people attending the show and thousands more who don't have badges that wait in line for offsites or pop-ups since comic con badges are not required. Inside the exhibit hall it's still a wall of people walking and trying to get from one booth to the next. It requires a lot of patience and we stress A LOT.

We try to get pics of everything that we can be it inside or outside the convention center. Check out our IG posts for pictures of everything. We take a lot of pics so its hard to try and condense everything into short slideshows.

It's another SDCC in the books for us. We look forward to covering the show next year and we await the challenge of experiencing all the offsite activations. Let's just hope that next year will not be humid. See you guys next year!
