Monstrosities at MyPlasticHeart

Check out the Monstrosities Group Show at MyPlasticHeart January 3rd for their Opening Reception from 7-10PM. The show runs through January 31st.

This show is a full blown Kaiju show with over 30 original monster toy designs by US and Japanese Kaiju designers BLOBPUS, Bloodguts, Galaxy People, GUUMON, Mechavirus, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore and Paul Kaiju.

Most of the pieces will be sold by a lottery basis starting the opening night of the show. The show will also feature music by Sailor Goon, NY based DJ.

MONSTROSITIES will be on display until Jan 31st, with the main reception being held on January 3rd. Some of the artists will be in attendance, so come out and have a killer time.

Pulp Fiction Minimates Box Set Hastings Exclusive

Diamond Select Toys announced a new Pulp Fiction Minimates Box Set. This set is exclusive to Hastings stores / GoHastings.com and can be purchased for $19.99.

The new box set, entitled "Diner Showdown," includes main characters Jules and Vince (played in the film by Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta) in "casual" T-shirts and shorts, rather than their trademark suits. The pair face off with robbers Pumpkin and Honey Bunny (portrayed by Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer), who decide to rob the diner they're all in at exactly the wrong moment.
Each figure stands 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation, and fully interchangeable parts. New York- As millions of fans anxiously await the series finale of Sons Of Anarchy, Mezco Toyz prepares the next wave of SAMCRO collectibles. Speculation about Jax's fate in yesterday's finale runs rampant. The show's creator has indicated that the character of Jax is loosely based on that of Hamlet, and things didn't turn out very well for Hamlet in the end.

But even if Jax does end up on a mortuary slab like so many of his costars, fans aren't ready to let him go just yet.

Walter White (SPOILER ALERT) died at the end of Breaking Bad but the demand for figures based on that character remain huge.  "We know Sons Of Anarchy fans are a dedicated crew, and we know no matter what happens tonight they will continue to want SOA figures, that's why Mezco is continuing the line well into the future."
