The Toy Box: Devil's Headquarters x Super7 Halloween Pocket Mummy Boy
This was a cool collaboration release for Halloween between Super7 x Devils Head Production/Headquarters. Inside Mummy Boy's body resides the resin remains of a demonic entity that haunts Mummy Boy. Only tiny issue is that the paint was still sticky so we just let it sit out for a few days and it has become less sticky. These are all hand painted as well so there will be some missed paint here and there.
These sold out quick at Super7 but if you're still looking for one, pick one up at Devils Head Productions for $35 HERE. According to Devils Headquarters, there is a limited chase (black) figure randomly shipped.

The Toy Box: Hanna-Barbera PVC Figures
One of the best finds or releases regarding Hanna-Barbera figures were these little PVC figures by Big Head Company. Got these quite a few years ago. They are sorta blind box if you buy them separately but if you buy them by the case you are guaranteed a whole set. For such small figures the quality is superior to those of lets say Jazwares PVC figures which are in stores now. These were made in China but produced by Big Head Company located in Japan. There are 16 PVC figures to complete the set.
First up is the Jetsons. Totally remember watching The Jetsons every morning before school. Here's George, Jane, Judy, Elroy, Astro & Rosey.
Wacky Races - Penelope Pitstop, Dick Dastardly & Muttley. Secret Squirrel & Morocco Mole.

Baba Looey & Quick Draw McGraw, Atom Ant, Wally Gator & Mr. Twiddle
Never really found out if there were more series made after this one. If you're a huge Hanna-Barbera fan or if these bring you back to you when you were a kid, definitely track these guys down. These are small enough to fit on your desk at work.

Dragatomi's Kidrobot Apocalypse Dunny Release Party, Show & Signing
Dragatomi really made an impact with us during our first visit. So, we decided to drop by during their Kidrobot Apocalypse Dunny Release Party, Show & Signing. It would probably have been easier to just head to KRSF but parking literally sucks there and the line would've been probably down a couple of blocks lol. Dragatomi had 3 artists from the Apocalypse Dunny series in attendance for their signing which was Hydro 74, Chris Ryniak & Jesse Hernandez.
What was also a great incentive for going to Dragatomi was that for every case of the Apocalypse Dunny purchased you would get 3 prints for free which is 1 each from the 3 artists in attendance.
Their Apocalypse cases with the free prints are sold out but you can still purchase the prints at Dragatomi.
They had a mini Kidrobot Apocalypse Dunny show as well. A couple of customs, a few prints & original sketches etc... You can see what is still available if you head over to Dragatomi's website.
Oh and in case you're wondering why there's no pics of Jesse Hernandez, it's because he was about an hour late to the party lol.

Designer Con 2012 Toy Haul!!!
Oh, about a week late or so on getting this up. Been a terribly busy week. Warning: Will be a long post. Lots of pictures. =) Probably one of the highlights this year was meeting Refreshment & Popsoda (Aya & Hossy) at Designer Con. They both flew out from Japan and had their own booth at D-Con. They are both really nice even though communication was a bit hard for all of us.
Popsoda brought along some exclusive/surprise releases to D-Con. First up is Atom A. Armwrestler's Green Miyuki "Potluck of Happiness" mini figure. There's also a tiny figure inside which you can hear rattling.

Designer Con 2012 Recap
Designer Con 2012 - WoW! Double the size from last year. More vendors, bigger booths, exclusives, customs etc... There were no clogging of aisles except if you were at Paul Kaiju's booth during his lottery to be able to purchase his toys. Lines were long at Circus Posterus as well as the Loyal Subjects booth. The D-Con organizers did a great job. Can't wait for next year!!!
