SDCC 2025 was just as epic as preview years. This year we focused on a lot of the offsite activation that were held all around the convention center and throughout the Gaslamp / downtown SD area. The exhibition hall is huge every year. Most companies that have exclusives have their own rules/handling of how their exclusives will be sold. All of that is usually announced through their socials or website. The big ones that attracts the biggest fan base with highly sought after exclusives were Mattel, Funko, Pop Mart, 100% Soft, UCC Distributing and more. 

One of the most epic things we saw inside the exhibit hall this year was at the LEGO booth! They built SDCC, convention center and booths!!!

LEGO Overwatch: Wrecking Ball and Junkrat & Roadhog Sets

Heroes assemble! Two brand new LEGO Overwatch sets featuring fan-favorites Wrecking Ball (a.k.a. Hammond) and Junkrat & Roadhog (inspired by the Junkertown map) are available now! The new sets expand on LEGO’s existing line of Overwatch sets, which includes a collection of popular heroes including Bastion, D.Va, Hanzo, Genji and Reinhardt.

The new LEGO Overwatch line sets are available starting today October 1 through the Blizzard Gear Store, LEGO, Barnes and Noble, Gamestop, Target and Walmart; and in-store at Barnes and Noble, Target and Walmart.

BLIZZARD AND LEGO REVEAL OVERWATCH JUNKERTOWN SETS & ANNOUNCE TWITCH RIVALS OVERWATCH TOURNAMENT ON JULY 25

New heroes arrive in two upcoming LEGO Overwatch sets, Wrecking Ball ($19.99), piloted by fan favorite Hammond the hamster, and Junkrat & Roadhog ($49.99), inspired by the Junkertown map, which will be seen for the first time at the Blizzard Entertainment booth (#140) at San Diego Comic-Con before they are available in October this year. 

In addition to revealing two new building sets, the LEGO Group is announcing they are hosting a day-long Twitch Rivals Overwatch tournament on July 25 in which teams are battling for a special prize! Stay tuned for this and more exclusive surprises soon!

LEGO and Disney Debut Spectacular Stop-Motion Animation Retelling of 'Cars'

In celebration of Cars 3 coming to DVD on Nov. 7, Disney today released Cars As Told By LEGO, the newest episode of its popular digital series produced in collaboration with LEGO. Watch as Lightning McQueen makes his LEGO debut in a charming, 3-minute, stop-motion animation video — narrated through the eyes of a youngster. 

In spectacular stop-motion animation, the video above details Lightning McQueen's devastating defeat to Jackson Storm and his return to Radiator Springs to put his life (and LEGO parts) back together again. The retelling includes recreations of iconic scenes from the film, including meeting his trainer Cruz Ramirez, training at the demolition derby and McQueen’s epic final race.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game Gets Ninja-gility Trailer

Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released the latest trailer for The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game, based on the upcoming big-screen adventure.

The new trailer features the Ninjago heroes training in the art of Ninja-gility which allows them to traverse Ninjago Island by wall-running, high-jumping and battling the foes of Ninjago to master and upgrade their combat skills with epic kicks, swings and gravity defying runs.

Rogue One: As Told By LEGO

The charming stop-motion animation video tackles the Lucasfilm narrative of The Battle of Scarif – in just under three minutes. Jyn Erso and her team of Rebels attempt to steal the plans to destroy the Death Star. 

This Star Wars-themed episode goes inside the imagination of young Billy, who uses a “briefcase” as the Imperial base on the tropical planet of Scarif to recreate the Star Wars world in his bedroom and bring to life his own epic stories.

“As Told By LEGO” is a spinoff of the popular “As Told By Emoji” franchise (125+ MM lifetime views), which continues Disney’s commitment to storytelling innovation with creative retellings of some of Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm’s most iconic stories. The first episode, Moana As Told by LEGO, was viewed more than 1 million times since the series debuted last week.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Character Spotlight Series Continues with NEW Kylo Ren Video

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released the next video in a series of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens character vignettes spotlighting Kylo Ren, the dark warrior who commands the First Order. The video showcases Kylo Ren’s LEGO character in full form through key gameplay moments, cinematic cutscenes and authentic audio, all with signature LEGO humor. The vignette also features original dialogue recorded by actor Adam Driver, who plays the role of Kylo Ren in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film.

Spider-Man Character Pack Coming to LEGO Marvel’s Avengers TODAY

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that a new Super Hero will be available in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers – Spider-Man! The Spider-Man Character Pack will be available starting today as a complimentary download for all consumers who purchase the game. This exciting new content will feature six (6) fan-favorite web-slingers in full LEGO form, including the character's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as seen in the recently released blockbuster, Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, and classic versions from select Marvel comics. This downloadable content (DLC) will be available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, Xbox One®, Xbox 360®, Wii™U, and Steam® (Windows PC).

LEGO Disney Minifigures

LEGO Disney Minifigures were released a bit early at certain retailers such as Target and Toysrus as LEGO didn't officially release them until May 1st. If you know us by now, we really like Toy Story so it was only natural for us to try and go for Alien and Buzz Lighyear. It's kind of weird or maybe just a coincidence how both Tsum Tsum and LEGO released these 2 Toy Story characters first.

Interactive Entertainment today released the first video in a series of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens character vignettes, spotlighting decorated X-wing pilot Poe Dameron, one of the Resistance’s most-trusted operatives. The video also features original dialogue from actor Oscar Isaac who plays Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on June 28, 2016 and marks the triumphant return of the No. 1 LEGO videogame franchise, immersing fans in the new Star Wars adventure like never before.
