Super7 Godzilla Station Pop-Up at SDCC 2025 Recap

Super7 always has one of the most creative offsites / pop-ups during SDCC. This year they transformed their San Diego store location into the Godzilla Station. They put up a temporary facade featuring Godzilla attacking the train station and always dope artwork on the side of their store. Inside the pop-up featured exclusive Toho Godzilla merchandise. There were exclusive apparel and collectibles. They had a signing with Director Shinji Higuchi. There were lines every day they were opened for SDCC. By Saturday, the store looked pretty empty. One of the sought after items is the Godzilla Station coin which you could pick up at their booth inside the convention center or at their pop-up. See pics below of their pop-up.

First post of 2023. There's a lot of posts that we need to catch up on but hope you are all doing well. Not gonna lie but trying to find the motivation and energy to keep blogging and covering shows has been hard. Lots of stuff going on in our personal lives so this has taken a back seat.

Wondercon 2022 This Weekend!!!

It's been way too long since we last attended a show. Wondercon Anaheim is this weekend, April 1-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. Badges can still be purchased HERE. If you've never been to Wondercon, it's a smaller con compared to SDCC. The exhibitor list w/map and programming is available HERE.

Designer Con 2021 Recap

Designer Con 2021 had their own virtual con during the summer but they also had their in-person event held at the Anaheim Convention Center in November. There were still a good amount of exhibitors, artists etc... in attendance. Overall with how things have been regarding the health and safety protocols, the show was held and it was a solid event despite a lot of uncertainty with traveling and covid. It's That Time of Year Again for SDCC 2021 or Comic-Con @ Home!

After a sporadic hiatus from blogging for most of 2020 and 2021, we're back just in time for SDCC 2021 or Comic Con @ Home again. With things slowly going back to normal, other job reduced hours so not working as much there which means a lot more down time to start blogging again about the latest toys, pop culture, comic cons etc... Health wise, we are all good. Hand injury from my other job has healed and haven't been back to the doctor since January of this year. 

A lot of companies have been announcing their comic-con exclusives and will continue to do so leading up to comic-con @ home or will have their own way of celebrating comic con this year virtually again since SDCC in San Diego won't be back until 2022 where by then all the covid variants will hopefully end and we can enjoy life as it was back in 2019. There will be panels again and lots of other fun stuff that CCI will have again this year. They will have new exclusive Comic Con merchandise for sale next week as well. Comic-Con @ Home is scheduled for July 23rd-25th.

Wondercon 2018 Recap

Wondercon 2018 has come and gone. The weather turned out really nice despite the gray skies and downpours of rain the day before. Traveling down to Anaheim was no joke. We've never seen it rain so hard in Southern California. Lots of freeways were filled with water and you know traffic is already insane during the dry normal days. With the rain it was just a huge mess and the traffic was obviously worse. Wondercon attendees dodged the horrible weather just a day earlier. The weather during Wondercon was awesome as you can see from our picture above. Nothing but blue skies. Beautiful So Cal weather!
