Godzilla Anyone?

 Just received the following:

HIGH ALERT: Godzilla advancing toward San Diego...

and Comic Con attendees are advised to be on guard as the convention approaches.

Legendary tracking equipment has been able to pinpoint where he will land and if the coordinates hold, he will thankfully just miss the Convention Center. The monster collision will, however, impact the surrounding downtown area significantly. I have picked up some news clips on his progress at this site:

The Devastator Presents Comic-Con Star Stalker Game Launches on July 15th

Play The First Ever Comic-Con Video Game
COMIC-CON STAR STALKER
Official Launch Date: July 15th

Finally, someone made a video game about Comic-Con! No, it wasn't a huge studio or two dudes jacked up on Mountain Dew -- it was the folks behind the cult print comedy magazine The Devastator.

Comic-Con Star Stalker is a free, 2D endless runner game for iOS that's endless fun for convention attendees stuck in five-hour lines for exclusive toys and restrooms! It's also awesome if you want to experience the ravenous crowds and nacho scarfing of Comic-Con from the comfort of your living room.

You play as Seth, a fanboy looking to score all the nerdlebrity autographs at Comic-Con. Leap over crowds and cosplayers! Eat nachos for intestine-destroying speed! Read the hilarious signatures you collect in your Autograph Book! Our game is the ultimate Comic-Con swag, and you won't even need a cripplingly large Supernatural bag to carry it!

Visit The Devastator at Booth F-03 (up Aisle 800 in Hall A) to play Comic-Con Star Stalker in a mini-arcade and meet the creators, Editor-in-Chief Geoffrey Golden and Managing Editor Amanda Meadows. The game's artist, Dane Ault, will be at Monkey Minion Press (Small Press - Table O-02).
