FOX Animation Domination Fan Fair was pretty neat. We saw them still setting up on preview night and testing the ferris wheel below.

Outside Events at SDCC 2017

Here's some of the events that were outside SDCC which features the Adult Swim on the Green, The Tick, Netflix, FXX, Fox, Blade Runner 2049, AMC Deadquarters, Mr. Mercedes, Syfy, Teen Titans, LEGO Ninjago, King Kong Skull Island and the Petco Interactive Zone. There are tons more events but these were what we saw. Lines for most of these were long with even longer lines during the weekend. Since most of the outside events are open to everyone including those without a SDCC badge you can expect to wait in lines for hours at all the outside events unless certain outside events require a reservation online prior to SDCC.

"The Simpsons" Season 17 Arrives on Blu-ray & DVD December 2nd

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment just announced that "The Simpsons" Season 17 will arrive on Blu-ray & DVD on December 2nd.

Synopsis:
When we were 17 it was a very good year -- a year for Homer's new dad, MacGyver gets mad, Sideshow Bob's not so bad... Another comical compilation of “The Simpsons” — the longest-running scripted show in television history — has arrived. Season 17 contains all 22 outrageous episodes, a vast repertoire of Springfieldian special features, plus a mind-blowing list of celebrity guest voices, including Alec Baldwin, Larry Hagman, William H. Macy, Frances McDormand, Rob Reiner, Susan Sarandon and Lily Tomlin, just to name a few, with additional guest voices also providing commentary including Richard Dean Anderson, Ricky Gervais, Michael York and Kelsey Grammer. Phew!

Sleepy Hollow at SDCC

Sleepy Hollow was in the Petco Interactive Zone during SDCC this year for their Oculus Rift Experience. The pics at night is a much better look. During the day, you can meet the Headless Horseman. The line for this was long every day (no surprise) and sadly we didn't experience this.

Gotham at SDCC

Gotham also had a pretty noticable presence at SDCC this year. On the lawn between the Hilton and the Convention Center they set up a zip line where you zip through Gotham City. Very cool way to promote this new show. The lines were long for this too even though you had to have a SDCC badge to participate.

SLEEPY HOLLOW Oculus Rift Experience at San Diego Comic Con!

 COMIC-CON “VIRTUAL REALITY” EXPERIENCE

DON’T LOSE YOUR HEAD! FOX is bringing SLEEPY HOLLOW back to San Diego with an Oculus Rift fan experience. WOO HOO! NECA x FOX Announces Limited Edition Guest Star Merchandise in Honor of 25 Seasons of The Simpsons

NECA x FOX announced that in Honor of The Simpsons 25 Seasons they will be producing Limited Guest Star Merchandise. The first 5 of 25 Greatest Guest Stars announced were James Brown, Tom Hanks, Kid Rock, Yao Ming & Hugh Hefner. These will be available in early 2014.

The limited-edition boutique collection, announced today at Licensing Expo 2013, will feature twenty-five of the greatest guest stars who have appeared as themselves on THE SIMPSONS.
