Chima Group just released quite a few new versions of their Sofubi figures. There are 2 new Wools "Beige/Royal Blue Muffler" for 1800yen & Gradation Wool (Marigold) for 1900yen. A new version of Surprise (Gaudy Pop) for 3000yen. 3 new colorways of Formal - Gradation (Marigold) for 3100yen, "Grey Pepper" for 3000yen and "Bicolor Cute" for 3000yen. Chima Group's Releases for Design Festa 38

Chima Group announced their releases for Design Festa 38. They will have 2 different version of Formal "Cocco"(yellow), "Sky Hight" (blue) and a new version of Wool "Peach Pine".

They will also have a new Ten-gallon "Little Gaudi". 

Btw, hopefully the Google Translate translated the names of the new versions correctly. If not, our apologies. 

Finally, it looks like they will have some Hemogoblin (RED) Gnocchi and a Chocolate Banana Formal with Sprinkles for Design Festa 38. Design Festa is this weekend! Make sure to stop by Chima Group's Booth # C 342.

Chima Group just released some new versions of their sofubi figures. Up first is a a new Tengallon (Kotobuki) which is painted by hand. There are 2 new Wools - Light Blue w/pink scarf & Pink with Red Scarf. Then there is a cool Chrome Metal Brothers set which features Amedas, Formal & Gnocchi. Finally, there is new Surprise (Dreaming) Version.

New Chima Group Pop Spider Amedas, Comedy Star Formal & Surprise for Shibuya Loft POPBOX

Chima Group will have a few new releases for Shibuya LOFT POPBOX. As you can see there will be a new Comedy Star Surprise & Comedy Star Formal.

They will also have 2 different Pop Spider Amedas for sale as well. The show starts Friday, August 23rd until Monday, September 16th Japan time.

Chima Group Mini Show at Grass Hut

Chima Group announced that they will have a mini show at Grass Hut in the middle of November around the 1st/2nd week of December (per Bwana of Grass Hut). No specific date has been announced by Grass Hut yet so will update this once we find out. Chima Group will have quite a few customs that they previously had at a few events in the past couple of months. They will have Custom Ninja Amedas, Lantern Ten-Gallon, Gardening Wool, Clockwork Wool, Master Bolo & Detective Formal. Also one exclusive release of Gradation Wool Sunset.

Chima Group to Release New Formal, Amedas & Wool at Yokohama Art Fair

Chima Group will be releasing a new colorways of Formal, Wool & Amedas at the Yokohama Art Fair this weekend. Above is 2 new Formals in blue with different color bowler hats and beaks.

There are 4 different versions of Wool. Wool in Orange/Yellow with either Red or lime green scarf and Wool in blue in either Yellow or Red scarf.

Finally, there will be 3 new Amedas in Peacock Blue, Electric Lime and Bright Red. WOW! That's a lot of new colorways being released. Chima Group will also be bringing some of their older colorways as well.

Chima Group will be at the Yokohama Creation Square in the first floor atrium. Find them at Booth #79.

Chima Group's Formal "Witch" Custom for Spooky Shop Show

Chima Group revealed their Formal "Witch" Custom for the Spooky Shop Show at Grass Hut. Looks like these will be a small run of a handful of these customs. Love their attention to detail. Oh yeah check out the shoes below:

The Toy Box: Chima Group's Formal "Banana Coat"

Chima Group recently introduced us to their newest figure Formal - A Strange Bird. Formal wears a bowler hat and for their first release he has on a banana coat. (Don't you see the resemblance of a banana?) Formal is the tallest so far of all the Chima Group figures. He stands 5.25" tall and has 1 point of articulation on the neck. You can rotate his head. You can purchase Formal directly from Chima Group or if you were quick enough last week, you could've picked him up at Rotofugi. As of this post, Rotofugi is sold out of Formal.

Chima Group's Bolo & Formal Customs For LOFT

Chima Group announced more customs for the LOFT show including Proud Teacher Bolo who has a mustache and holding a paint palette. So cute!!! The colors are awesome too. Oh yeah, can't forget he's winking too!!!!

Next custom is Detective Formal. He has a new accessory which would be a pipe and a bow to tie up his coat. Very nice touch!
