Silicon Valley Comic Con 2017 Recap

Silicon Valley Comic Con 2017 was bigger and better this year! The show expanded into other buildings and areas around the San Jose Convention Center on April 21-23. SVCC is now the largest Comic-Con show in Northern California. What makes SVCC different than other shows is that they merge Technology & Science with Pop Culture. So, even though you're enjoying coplayers, picking up that collectible etc... you can also go there to learn. This is a great show for families. This year they had a Science Fair, a Kids STEAM Lab and NASA had a huge presence inside the exhibit hall with massive planets hanging over their booth and even get your picture taken inside an astronaut's spacesuit.

Grant Gustin & Tom Felton is Coming to SVCC

Silicon Valley Comic Con announced that Grant Gustin & Tom Felton will be coming to SVCC this year for Photo Ops and Autograph Signings. Grant Gustin is the star on the CW's "The Flash" and Tom Felton is best know as Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter Films. DOMINATOR - Cerevo’s First Officially Licensed Smart Toy Will Make its International Debut at Silicon Valley Comic Con

Tsunami Tuna to premiere at Silicon Valley Comic Con this Friday-Sunday at the Madefire Booth.

"Madefire, the developer of the innovative Motion Book reading platform, and Emerging Talent Creatv, are excited to announce they will be co-hosting free screenings of the newly-completed "Tsunami Tuna: Free Billy," an adult-oriented animated short, during SVCC. This 3-D comedy features the exploits of Tsunami Tuna, a giant radioactive tuna and his sidekick, RAD, an ex-Navy weaponized albino dolphin. Their adventures include recruiting Billy, a marine mammal theme park escapee, to join their "fish army" and stop man's destruction of the world's oceans. All while being pursued by a crazed, one-eyed Russian sea captain. There is a current Motion Book series on the backstory of RAD the sidekick, available on all Madefire apps and web."

Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson will reunite for a must-attend panel, photo ops and special signings at a “Back to the Future” Premiere Event during the show. The inaugural Silicon Valley Comic Con will be hosted at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA the weekend of March 18-20, 2016. This will mark Michael J. Fox’s first appearance at a North American Comic Con. It will also be the first time Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson have appeared together for fan photo-ops at a comic con type event. The Back to the Future event will take place Saturday, March 19 and include a panel with Fox, Lloyd and Thompson.

San Jose, Calif. – Sept. 21, 2015 – The original Captain Kirk, William Shatner, has set coordinates for Silicon Valley Comic Con (SVCC), Steve Wozniak’s pop culture and technology expo debuting in March 2016. Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural event, which has added a Friday night opening due to overwhelming interest and support. SVCC will bring top celebrities, film, TV, independent artists, comic books, cosplay, video games, music and technology to the San Jose Convention Center the weekend of March 18-20, 2016.

As the first official details for SVCC to be revealed, William Shatner will host a special 50th anniversary celebration for Star Trek alongside other stars from the acclaimed TV and film series. More information about the celebration and the rest of the special events for SVCC will be released later this fall.
