From creators signing exclusive original comic book ashcan editions to the launch of the brand-new TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (TMNT) comic, IDW Publishing has big plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2024.

Located at booth #2729, IDW Publishing is proudly setting up shop at SDCC for the entire show, beginning with a massive signing event to celebrate the record-breaking launch of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #1 on Preview Night (7/24). In total, the award-winning publisher is bringing more than 20 signings with acclaimed creators to its booth and will proudly present three can’t-miss panels for fans. Heavy Metal Announces San Diego Comic Con 2022 Programming

 

Heavy Metal Entertainment, the premier storyteller of cutting-edge science fiction, fantasy, and horror, is thrilled to announce its 2022 San Diego Comic Con programming lineup. Heavy Metal is home to the legendary illustrated Heavy Metal Magazine, a growing slate of comics and prose novels, a podcast network, film and television division Heavy Metal Studios, and so much more.

 

 

Heavy Metal will be taking over Booth #1529 to sell books and merchandise, including convention exclusives like special editions of best-selling issues of the magazine and comics with sheet metal covers, like the Peach Momoko cover edition of Taarna: The Last Taarakian #1, and new apparel celebrating the publisher’s 45th anniversary this year. 

Fans can also purchase tickets for the Heavy Metal Live Hornblower Boat Party, taking place on Saturday July 23rd at 7pm PST in San Diego Harbor. In partnership with iBoatNYC, the concert cruise will feature sets from the popular DJ Matt Steffanina and electronic artist Doll Machine. Ticket packages start at $34.96 HERE. 

Book signings from popular Heavy Metal talent, including writer/actor Dan Fogler, artists Isaac and Esau Escorza, writer Blake Northcott, writer/artist Gideon Kendall, and writer Brendan Columbus will also take place at Booth #1529. SIGNING SCHEDULE

All creators signing in our booth offer their autographs for FREE. FREE prints, comics, or posters are provided for most of our signings (while supplies last). You may purchase or bring items to be signed; however, we may restrict the type or number of items to be signed as necessary.

Some signings require a wristband for entry, as noted on the schedule. Drawings for wristbands for these events will begin at show opening the day before and day of each signing. Come to the Dark Horse booth early for the best chance to join these events.

 

Lines may also be closed for some signings due to crowding or time restrictions.

We have two signing stages. One features art by Mike Huddleston and Mike Mignola for Hellboy; the other showcases the Xenoverse with art by Massimo Carnevale for Aliens: Defiance and Dave Palumbo for Prometheus: Life and Death and Predator: Life and Death. The location of each signing is indicated by the following abbreviations:
