The Loyal Subjects BST AXN TMNT Wave 4: The Loyal Subjects crushed it in 2021 with their breakout BST AXN TMNT 80’s comic inspired action figures. Legends of Laughter Action Figure Line to Feature Iconic Comedians

The Nacelle Company, parent company to the award-winning stand-up comedy label Comedy Dynamics, is set to unveil the Legends of Laughter action figure line featuring comedy legends, Lenny Bruce, Joan Rivers and Bill Hicks, ComicBook.com has learned exclusively. This release marks the first time the diversified media company known for Netflix's The Toys That Made Us, A Toy Store Near You, and The Movies That Made Us, as well as Behind The Attraction (that one's on Disney+), has blended both of its established brands into one collectible. Sprinkle in some nostalgia and you have what's likely to be a winning combination, especially with the announcement coming on the heels of HBO's George Carlin's American Dream. 

The first wave of pre-orders will be available on NacelleStore.com starting August 16th, in celebration of National Joke Day. In addition to Nacelle Company's online store, the figures will be available through hundreds of independent toy stores and other retailers worldwide. Also, as a first for the toy industry, each figure package will include a QR code that allows users to enjoy an exclusive previously unreleased track from that artist, which has been personally curated by the Rivers, Hicks and Bruce estates, respectfully.

Designer Con 2021 Recap

Designer Con 2021 had their own virtual con during the summer but they also had their in-person event held at the Anaheim Convention Center in November. There were still a good amount of exhibitors, artists etc... in attendance. Overall with how things have been regarding the health and safety protocols, the show was held and it was a solid event despite a lot of uncertainty with traveling and covid. Mothra joins 5 Points XL - a colossal addition to our nostalgic 5 Points line with the same fan-fueled fun, but bigger! …It’s a little bit of a big deal.

Inspired by the 1964 film ‘Mothra vs. Godzilla’ , the massive moth measures 9” in length from wing to wing. Mothra features a flocked body and an articulated head and wings. The Shobijin Twins feature flocked shoulder capes and come complete with two different head portraits, two sets of interchangeable arms, and can join hands - allowing for a multitude of display options.

Mothra and the Shobijin Twins are packaged in a train case, just like the one seen in the film. Mothra’s display base can attach to the packaging so she can hover over the Shobijin twins.

Super7 announced their SDCC 2021 exclusives but as we all know SDCC will be a virtual event again this year so everyone will have a chance to order exclusives online. Keeping with tradition, most if not all companies, artists etc... will still have exclusives for sale next week. Super7's exclusives will be up for sale next week at Super7.com. 

Disney’s Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse Supersize Vinyl. Stands 16" tall and is poseable. This designer vinyl figure features a soft, custom tailored tunic, shorts, and removable double-stitched belted pouch. Also comes with his fabric shears. This Supersize Mickey vinyl figure will cost $295. Pre-orders for this will start Wednesday, July 21st at 12PM Noon Pacific.
