NICKELODEON CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER WITH EPIC HOMAGE TO THE AVATAR-VERSE AT SDCC 2025

 

 

Nickelodeon is celebrating 20 years of Avatar: The Last Airbender with an epic homage to the Avatar-verse, at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2025.  Its 1,800 square-foot booth (#4113) on the convention center floor will bring the four elements—Water, Earth, Fire and Air--to life through immersive experiences and special photo opportunities.

The following is a rundown of Nickelodeon’s panel, booth activities and outdoor activation:

20 Years. 4 Elements. 1 Avatar. Nickelodeon is celebrating Avatar: The Last Airbender’s 20th anniversary with a panel that will take fans on a special journey through the legacy of the Avatar-verse. Join original voice cast members Zach Tyler Eisen (Aang), Jack DeSena (Sokka), Michaela Jill Murphy (Toph), Jennie Kwan (Suki), Dante Basco (Zuko) and Dee Bradley Baker (Appa), series composer Jeremy Zuckerman, and creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, as they celebrate one of the most beloved animated series of all time. Moderated by: Janet Varney (the voice of Korra). Yip Yip!

Nickelodeon's SDCC 2024 Exclusives

 

Nickelodeon showcases all-new must-have products featured at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2024, available for purchase at the Nick booth (#4113) on the convention center floor!

Celebrating the 25^th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, Nickelodeon will transport fans to Bikini Bottom with larger-than-life replicas of SpongeBob’s pineapple home, The Krusty Krab, and the Barg’N-Mart in honor of the original pilot episode, “Help Wanted.” Every day of the convention, the booth will feature interactive games, photo opportunities, costume character appearances, and autograph signings.

At the booth, fans can stock up on memorabilia from their favorite Nickelodeon shows, including an exclusive 25^th Anniversary Edition SpongeBob SquarePants Krusty Krab spatula, an Avatar: The Last Airbender reversible bucket hat, and more.

CultureFly Discontinues The Nick Box

CultureFly recently sent out an email (above) to current Nick Box subscribers. This is a total bummer for those of us that really loved the retro/nostalgia of the 90's early 2000's era of Nickelodeon. It's sad but at the same time the subscription box scene has not been to what it once was. CultureFly will still be making Nickelodeon items such as the Reptar figure collaboration with James Groman.

The Loyal Subjects BST AXN TMNT Wave 4: The Loyal Subjects crushed it in 2021 with their breakout BST AXN TMNT 80’s comic inspired action figures. Following up in early Spring 2023, TLS is bringing April O’Neil into the BST AXN character universe, along with the villain Slash, and new looks on Rocksteady, and Krang w/ Walker (a crazy purple metallic color edition). Nickelodeon will invite fans to dive into an immersive experience at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2022, showcasing the depths of Bikini Bottom, imaginations of babies, a new generation of Transformers robots, the hallways of Monster High, the elements of Avatar and more. Headquartered at its 1,800 square-foot booth (#4113) on the convention center floor, Nickelodeon will celebrate fan-favorite characters and shows with one-of-a-kind panels, talent signings, activations, exclusive products and interactive design elements featuring: SpongeBob Universe (SpongeBob SquarePants and its two original spinoff series, The Patrick Star Show and the Paramount+ Original series, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years), the Paramount+ Original series Rugrats and Transformers: EarthSpark, plus Monster High: The Movie, Avatar: The Last Airbender and more.

BURBANK, Calif.-July 8, 2021-Nickelodeon is raising the curtain on The Patrick Star Show at Comic-Con@Home to give fans a one-of-a-kind look at the SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff featuring the world’s most famous pink sea star and his family. On Saturday, July 24, at 3:00 p.m. PT/6:00 p.m. ET, voice cast and producers behind the original series will treat viewers to an exclusive table read and conversation. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Exclusive Shredder Figure

The Shredder is back!  Based on Nickelodeon’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Shredder figure comes ready to attack! The Turtles’ ultimate nemesis stands nearly 6” tall and features a ball-joint articulated head with a sinister facial expression and glowing red eyes, a body molded in a translucent brown with gray, metallic-sprayed armor, and shredding claw weapon accessories. He also has slide joint neck articulation, waist articulation, ball-joint articulated shoulders, and hips, knee and ankle articulation so you can pose him in hundreds of different ways.

Shredder comes packed out in a highly-collectible, uniquely-styled, five-sided penta-shaped window box placed in a protective white mailer box calling out the “2019 San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Shredder” name.

The Nick Box - Camp Nick Box is the theme for this Summer release. This box was released first at SDCC even though those that have a subscription were charged earlier in June but didn't get our boxes until after SDCC. The perks of getting the Camp Nick box at SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) is that it comes with an exclusive item that you don't get in the boxes through the subscription.

Nickelodeon Reveals First-Look Footage of All-New INVADER ZIM: Enter the Florpus TV Movie at SDCC

In INVADER ZIM: Enter The Florpus, ZIM discovers his almighty leaders have no intention of coming to Earth and he loses confidence in his own amazingness for the first time in his amazing life, which is the big break his human nemesis Dib has been waiting for. At some point, GIR rides a tiny donkey, and that’s all anyone should really care about. The 2D-animated TV movie is produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank.

As previously announced, Horvitz and Simons return as fan-favorites ZIM and GIR in INVADER ZIM: Enter The Florpus, alongside Andy Berman as Dib Membrane and Melissa Fahn as Gaz Membrane. Additional voice actors reprising their original series roles include: Wingert and McDonald as the Almighty Tallest Irken leaders; Rodger Bumpass as Professor Membrane, Dib and Gaz’s father; Olivia d’Abo as Tak, ZIM’s Irken nemesis; and Paul Greenberg as Poonchy, one of ZIM and Dib’s human classmates.

INVADER ZIM debuted on Nickelodeon in 2001 and chronicled the efforts of an extraterrestrial named ZIM on a mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race.
