Designer Con 2012 Toy Haul!!!

Oh, about a week late or so on getting this up. Been a terribly busy week. Warning: Will be a long post. Lots of pictures. =) Probably one of the highlights this year was meeting Refreshment & Popsoda (Aya & Hossy) at Designer Con. They both flew out from Japan and had their own booth at D-Con. They are both really nice even though communication was a bit hard for all of us.

Popsoda brought along some exclusive/surprise releases to D-Con. First up is Atom A. Armwrestler's Green Miyuki "Potluck of Happiness" mini figure. There's also a tiny figure inside which you can hear rattling.

Below was a surprise to see which is RxH x Atom A. Armwrestler's Sunshine Ama.
Popsoda had a lot of awesome figures from many of Japan's Sofubi makers including Restore, Frenzy Bros, Nerd One etc...

On to what was picked up at Refreshment's part of the Booth!!!! Cuppys!!!! Mutant Chaos!!!!
Custom Cuppy
These Cuppys were all different and unique as no 2 were the same. The top as well as the feet has glitter.
Refreshment also had a Custom King Cuppy with the same paint pattern.

Mutant Chaos Front
Mutant Chaos Back
This was a D-Con exclusive and sold out at the show!!!

The next batch of pictures were some of Refreshment's releases prior to D-Con that we picked up at D-Con as well.

We also asked Aya if we could redeem our Cuppy points so we brought our points and got this below:
So Awesome!!!! Thank you again Aya!!!

Next was a stop at Super7's booth to pick up the debut release of Josh Herbolsheimer's Pocket Rose Vampire.
So freakin' adorable. Ha! This is the fizzy root beer colorway. Once again S7 has provided another awesome header specifically designed for this figure.

This is what the header looks like when the figure is still sealed in package.
When the header opens up it transforms into a casket/coffin with Rose Vampire inside.
Different view.
It would've been cool if the entire package was a coffin and the Rose Vampire was inside and be able to pop out of it, but it would probably cost too much.

Also had to stop by Monster Worship's booth and pick up one of Jeff Lamm's Mini Greasebats. Monster Worship held a few back for D-Con and since we missed the online drop this was our last shot until the next colorway release.

Spent most of the time checking out the art and other exhibitors there.
