Saving the Best for Last: DesignerCon 2017 Recap

DesignerCon 2017 has come and gone in a blink of an eye. This year was the biggest and most crowded that DCon has ever been. Maybe it was partly due to the holiday weekend but we can say a lot of collectors came out in full force from all over the world to attend and to pick up exclusives from their favorite company or artists.

This was also the last year that DesignerCon will be at the Pasadena Convention Center. DesignerCon has definitely grown and they still had artists & vendors on the waiting list to get a booth even though spaces were already filled. In all the years that we've been attending DesignerCon, it was never this crowded. Even towards the later hours of the show it was jammed packed. We were stuck in Hall C on Saturday shuffling down the aisles. It felt like SDCC.

The Nick Box Snowed In Unboxing

Here's our unboxing of the The Nick Box "Snowed In". Another awesome quality box which other subscription boxes should take notes of. The box itself is something you want to keep. Culturefly is the company behind The Nick Box and they have the collector in mind when designing their boxes. Loot Crate Unite 2.0 Unboxing

The November Theme for Loot Crate was Unite 2.0. This crate was not our cup of tea. We also did not receive this crate until December which is why this unboxing post is so late. Obviously with Christmas coming soon after we received this crate we had to put some of our postings on hold as we were busy getting ready for Christmas.

Loot Pets Greatest Hits Vol. 1 Unboxing

This is the second to last Loot Pets box which was themed Greatest Hits Vol. 1 which featured some of their best items from Loot Pets throughout it's run. Yes, sadly Loot Pets is ending with one more box for December. Unfortunately, we received November's box in December so that means we'll be receiving the December and Final Loot Pets crate in January. We do not know the reason why their crates etc... have not been arriving by the 28th of each month. The items inside this box could be different than the one that you received as there was no specific item revealed in the postcard with this box.
