Disney's Toy Story 3 Chuckles The Clown Figure

So stoked to finally get a Chuckles figures but there was a definitely a catch getting him. He was never made as a standard movie figure that were released by Mattel or even as a plush from Disney. He was released as a buddy figure from Mattel but the buddy figures are small and he came in a 2-pack which was hard to find.

The Catch was this:
You had to buy all the figure listed in the back of this figure card. Each figure had a piece of Chuckles that you had to collect to build him. Once you got all the pieces, you have yourself a Chuckles The Clown Figure.

These figures are from Disney and costs $12.50 each. They might still be on sale for 2 for $20 but you have to check either their online store or one of their retail stores.

Spotlight on Mini Amedas by Chima Group

Chima Group's Mini Amedas (dinosaur with rain boots) is one of the breakthrough figures for this year for me. Chima Group is a new Sofubi company from Japan. I was hooked after seeing a picture posted on twitter. I couldn't just settle for one colorway, I wanted them all. For me its the simplicity of the figure that I really like. It's cute and has a little articulation. You can move the head and the feet can move a little bit too.

There are now 2 places in the U.S. that you can get Chima Group's Sofubi figures. Lulubell and Rotofugi both carry the Mini Amedas figures.

Lulubell has an exclusive Chima Group x Grody Shogun version of the Mini Amedas still in stock HERE. That version is the yellow with teal boots which is the guy all the way on the right in the picture.

Here's another picture showing the front and side of each one.

Splurrt's Cadaver Kid

Splurrt has been churning out lots of new figures and this is his first vinyl figure called Cadaver Kid. I am kicking myself for missing out on the made to order unpainted black and green figure released a few months back. So I was pretty stoked to snag up one of his first painted Cadaver Kid from his store when these were released. Splurrt had a few different painted versions up and I think there was only a couple left by the time I checked out his store.

Here's a couple of pics showing the front and back of this awesome painted Cadaver Kid.
Btw, Splurrt will be releasing 2 new micro runs of painted Cadaver Kids at 2 Show coming up. One at Toy Karma 3 and the other at Toy Art Gallery. More info on these in another post.

World Of Dance hit the SF Bay Area by Storm this past Saturday, August 20th 2011 at the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo, CA. There were so many awesome dance crews and dancers at the event. Very inspiring!

Lulubell's Shooting Blanks - Itokin Park's Lucha Bear

via Lulubell
Lulubell's Shooting Blanks Program newest blank made to order is Itokin Park's Lucha Bear in Unpainted Black or Unpainted GID. Retails for $48 each. There is no limit and are made to order. Pre-orders are open for 1 week starting today (Friday) 8/26 at 12Noon Pacific at Lulubell and ends Thursday, September 1st at Noon Pacific.

I do have 1 tiny question that has been bugging me as this is the 1 Itokin Park Sculpt that I am almost complete on. There has been a release of the unpainted black Lucha Bear back in 2009 when the Lucha Bear's were 1st released. My question is, Will there be any difference in the Shooting Blanks Unpainted Lucha Bear to differ from the ones that were released back in 2009?

Here's the one I got back in 2009.
Released in 2009

UPDATE: Guess my question has been answered and the Unpainted Black has been cancelled and a replacement color will be in the works.  via Lulubell
