Shudder’s Clown in a Cornfield Immersive Experience at SDCC Recap

Shudder’s Clown in a Cornfield experience was one of the best immersive offsites during comic con this year. If you enjoy going to Halloween Horror Nights or similar Halloween mazes this one did not disappoint.

This maze was just as unpredictable as any other ones with dead ends and an appearance by Frendo. Once we made it thru the maze we find ourselves inside a room. We needed to find the right key to unlock the door in order to escape.

Once we exited, survivors entered a twisted carnival type area that had areas for photo ops, carnival games, and was given tickets for food (gummies) and drink (slushies). On our way out, we were given a swag bag (popcorn, bag, poster) before our experience ended.  Check out our pictures from this experience below:

AMC NETWORKS RETURNS TO COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL WITH DYNAMIC LINEUP OF FAN-FAVORITE SERIES PANELS, SCREENINGS, FAN ACTIVATION & MORE

 

AMC Networks returns to Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA with a dynamic lineup of fan-favorite series panels and a not-to-be-missed Shudder activation based on the hit film CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD, which makes its Shudder and AMC+ streaming debut on August 8, among other activities. Panels include a return to Hall H for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, featuring an exclusive first-look at the official trailer from the third season, premiering Sunday, September 7 on AMC and AMC+; and Ballroom 20 panels for two series in AMC Networks’ Anne Rice Immortal Universe, including the new season of the critically acclaimed Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, which began production in Toronto last month, and the newest series, Anne Rice’s Talamasca, premiering in October on AMC and AMC+.

Additionally, the IFC Entertainment Group will have cast and producers from a number of films participating in three panels, including Collider’s Ladies Night After Dark, featuring female filmmakers in the independent space; The Bold Voice of Contemporary Horror panel, spotlighting a variety of horror films; and Leave Them in Suspense panel, which will include Adam Cesare, award-winning author of the book Clown in a Cornfield, on which the film is based.
