Con Man is Coming to Comic-Con HQ

In case you were busy this past weekend, Comic -Con HQ opened on Saturday/Free Comic Book Day. It is still in Beta mode so they are still tweaking things etc...

SANTA MONICA, CA, May 2016 – Lionsgate (NYSE:LGF) today announced that the record-breaking web series Con Man, executive produced by the science fiction dream team of Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Firefly, Frozen), Nathan Fillion (Castle, Firefly, Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog) and author PJ Haarsma, will call Comic-Con HQ home.  Comic-Con HQ is the new subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) destination that will extend the experience of San Diego Comic-Con into a year-round event.

Wondercon 2016 Recap

Wondercon 2016 took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center this year. The LA Convention Center is huge. If you don't know where you're going you could get lost. For the most part there was a good amount of space so you are spread out when exiting the exhibit floor. For the bigger panels etc.. they used the Microsoft Theater. They had 2 sections for Food Trucks while there were also places to eat inside the convention center.

(SANTA MONICA, CA & BALTIMORE, MD) — (March 23, 2016) — It’s the 15th anniversary of Free Comic Book Day and Comic-Con HQ (CCHQ,), the official pop culture network for all things Comic-Con has joined forces with Diamond Comic Distributors to celebrate. In addition to becoming the first title sponsor, CCHQ will launch free Beta access to the network. Anyone signing up to participate in the Beta at Comic-Con HQ will have exclusive free and unlimited access through July 25, which includes week-long live coverage of San Diego Comic-Con.

Comic-Con HQ will launch with free beta access on May 7 with its official premiere in June leading up to Comic-Con International: San Diego in July.
