Ghostbusters The Board Game II Successfully Funded on Kickstarter

Sequel to 2015’s successful tabletop game Kickstarted with 4,385 backers pledging over $767,000

Lake Forest, CA – May 10, 2016 – Cryptozoic Entertainment (cryptozoic.com), leading creator of board games, trading cards and collectibles, and Sony Pictures Consumer Products today announced the successful conclusion of the Kickstarter campaign for Ghostbusters™: The Board Game II. The stand-alone expansion game has been funded by 4,385 people pledging over $767,000 in order to bring the cooperative ghost-busting tabletop game to market. The Pledge Manager, where backers can manage their pledges and upgrade to additional add-ons, will be available on Kickstarter next week. This officially licensed Ghostbusters game will begin shipping to backers across North America, Australia, New Zealand, UK and EU in May 2017.

Real Ghostbusters are back in Ghostbusters: The Board Game II

This one’s for the REAL Ghostbusters fans out there! Cryptozoic announced a new add-on to Ghostbusters: The Boardgame II called the Get Real Pack.

The nostalgic upgrade features characters from the classic 80’s cartoon, adding new game pieces for Peter, Ray, Egon, Winston, Janine and even the flying Ecto-2 copter to the board game.

The add-on includes 23 minis inspired by the classic The Real Ghostbusters cartoon as well as Ally Cards that introduce exciting new gameplay elements, and can be added onto a Kickstarter pledge at any level.
