We got the chance to check out the Studio Ghibli Pop Up Shop in San Francisco last month. The pop up shop was opened to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of My Neighbor Totoro. The pop up shop was presented by Kinokuniya and Her Universe. There were exclusive t-shirts and a tote bag if you spent $100 while supplies last of course. Check out our pictures below.

Her Universe and Kinokuniya USA announce Studio Ghibli Pop-Up Shop in San Francisco

Some exciting news! Her Universe and Kinokuniya USA will have a Studio Ghibli Pop-Up Show in San Francisco. The Pop-Up Shop will be held at TOTO Concept 190 King Street in San Francisco (near AT&T Park) from February 24th to March 18th.

Customers who make a  purchase of $100 or more will receive a free souvenir tote bag while supplies last. The Pop-Up shop will be designed to look a like the forest where Totoro lives.

Starting this weekend, GKIDS & Fathom Event’s kicks off STUDIO GHIBLI FEST 2017 (a six-film monthly series of anime masterpieces) with its first title “My Neighbor Totoro,” hitting select U.S. movie theaters on Sunday, June 25 at 12:55 p.m. local time (English language dubbed) and Monday, June 26 at 7:00 p.m. local time (English language subtitled).  Also as part of the exclusive event experience, audiences will enjoy the GKIDS MINIFEST, an ongoing festival of award-winning short animated films from around the world.
