Munky King OMI Series 1 Release, Signing & Trade Party

This coming Thursday, March 3rd 2011 from 7pm - 10pm @ Munky King. Munky King will be releasing OMI Series 1 and will have artists who are in the series at the opening party to sign your OMIs. The first 50 people to purchase a case will get either the Omi Wall Mount or one of  Yoskay Yamamoto's Designs. These will be blind boxed.

OMI was first introduced back at SDCC 2010. I had the opportunity to purchase one of their DIY OMI as well as their exclusive SDCC version. Here are some pics of what I got.
For the DIY OMI, there are 4 different versions as you can see on the side of the box. It is checked to let you know which version you are getting. These are 3.5" tall and comes with an ABS Acrylic Frame and base with an emossed rubber peg. So basically once you are done with customizing this you can display this wherever you want since it comes with frame that you can leave on your desk or even hang it on a wall.
This was the SDCC 2010 Exclusive version. I thought this was really unique and of course since I like the unusual stuff I had to get one. Not too long after SDCC last year, Munky King also sells Wall Mounts that can hold up to 9. They had a bunch of these at their booth filled with many customs by artists who stopped by their booth.

I really like this concept! Just thought it was something unique and out of the box.
