SDCC 2013 RECAP

Well SDCC has come and gone yet again. The most anticipated show that everyone waits for year after year. For those who have never gone, there are lines literally for everything inside & outside. Besides the convention exclusives & panels, there were lots of off-site activities to do which kept most if not all busy for 4+ days and sleep was pretty much very few hours a night to none at all depending if you went to programming at night or were invited/had tickets for parties and other events.

(word & picture slideshow heavy) Sorry for the delay in getting this up! If you're not keen on reading just look for the slideshow galleries towards the end lol.

If you can manage this long post - At the end of the post are Picture Galleries for Super7, Gargamel & Grasshut, Designer Toys, Toys & Collectibles, Inside & Outside SDCC #1 & #2, A few pics from Funko Fun Days, WB The Big Bang Theory Art, Bates Motel / Vikings etc... Didn't make any comments for these but will make a new post featuring our SDCC Haul and freebies that we came home with. If you check out our website we will have more commentary and a more in depth feel of what we experienced at this year's SDCC.

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Cartoon Network will once again offer the ultimate fan experience both on and off the convention floor. Taking center stage is an Adventure Time themed booth on the convention floor showcasing the Ice King’s iconic castle with an exclusive fan-centric photo opportunity. Fans again have the opportunity to collect exclusive Comic-Con giveaways including five different Adventure Time buttons.

Directly across the street from the Convention Center, Cartoon Network has joined forces for a second year with the New Children’s Museum of San Diego to offer families and kids-of-all ages a unique immersive experience. Taking its inspiration from the Emmy® award-winning series Regular Show, Cartoon Network will transform The New Children’s Museum into the Regular Show Regular Zone – a sensory feast complete with nostalgic 80’s arcade games, Regular Show inspired video games, and groovy neon lighting. Topping the museum with ginormous inflatables of series stars Mordecai and Rigby, Comic-Con goers won’t be able to miss the Regular Show Regular Zone at The New Children’s Museum which is open and free of charge throughout San Diego Comic-Con 2013.

For the first time ever, Cartoon Network will host back-to-back panels of fan favorite series Adventure Time and Regular Show at the Hilton Bayfront on Friday, June 19. Series creators and stars will participate in interactive panels, where fans can ask their burning questions and get all the behind-the-scenes secrets on their favorite shows!  Other Cartoon Network events will include panels and signings for Annoying Orange, Ben 10:Omniverse, MAD, Batman Beyond and Teen Titans Go!  as well as a sneak peak of three brand new original animated comedies: Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe and Clarence.

Below is a list of Cartoon Network series panels, fan events and signings at 2013 Comic-Con International in San Diego, Calif., Thursday, July 18 - Sunday, July 21, 2013.  Panel times and room locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
