Seagool! Seagool!! Seagooooooooooool!!!

Grody Shogun Version
CCM
Designer Con Brick by Brick 2
NYCC 2011
Acquired these Seagools in the past couple of months. Missed out on the Anchor Neck Seagool which was released at Designer Con this year as well. So if anyone has a lead on one or changes their mind on it. Let me know!

Seagool was created from the Brilliant Mind of Paul Kaiju. They were first made in resin and are now made in vinyl with the help of Lulubell. Out of all the figures, Seagool is my favorite so far. I say so far because Paul always has something new brewing.

The Grody Shogun version was Grody's take on Paul's Seagool. Missed out on this during the initial release but after patiently waiting, I was able to find one. I didn't include the Monstergool Mashups in this post but they'll be in another for sure!

Next up is the CCM (Cotton Candy Machine) version. During NYCC this year, Lulubell held a special event at CCM where they released a lot of different figures in the CCM colors. Then we have the Designer Con Brick by brick 2 which was 1 of 2 Seagools exclusive to DCON. The other was more limited than this version which is why I was unable to get it. Finally, we have the NYCC version which an awesome friend helped me get.

Looking forward to more Seagools in the New Year!

SDCC11 Toy Haul Spotlight - Painted Clear Seagool by Paul Kaiju x Lulubell

Paul Kaiju also brought with him the 1st painted clear vinyl version of Seagool. Of course I had to buy this too! Inside Seagool you can see the shiny grass tinsel. Loving this painted version. Can't wait to see more!

SDCC11 Toy Haul Spotlight - Clear Seagool by Paul Kaiju x Lulubell

Paul Kaiju has turned his resin Seagool into Vinyl form by Lulubell. Paul brought a lot of stuff for his turn in the GFS/O'nell booth. He brought a lot of stuff. Sadly though I did not know he was handing out tickets beforehand and got a really high number but luckily I was able to get the Seagool which was my main want. The first one up is an all clear vinyl Seagool. Stands about 4.5" tall.

Recap of Leecifer & Paul Kaiju's Custom Show @ Super7

Last night, Super7 hosted the Leecifer & Paul Kaiju Custom Show. The show was awesome as expected from seeing all the teaser pictures. Both artists brought the heat and they did not disappoint!!! It was a real treat to see so many of Paul Kaiju's customs in one place. The best part was that anyone who was at the show last night had the opportunity to own at least one of his customs. The turnout for the show was great and as usual the show was very casual and low key. Leecifer brought a whole lot of customs and paintings. He never disappoints when he has a show. There's always a lot to choose from. It was a great show last night and the weather was excellent on top of it where earlier in the week the weather forecasters were talking rain and possibility of snow.

Check Super7 to pick up the newest Monster Family Releases that were released last night at the show, Leecifer's Honoo The Flame and Paul Kaiju's Party Ball here. Also check back Tomorrow on Super7's webstore to see what customs are left.

You can check out the pictures here. If you want to read the slightly longer recap you can check it on our website here.
