Wondercon 2012 Recap

Wondercon 2012 was held in Anaheim, CA at the Anaheim Convention Center this past weekend, March 16th-18th.

First, I must say that the Anaheim Convention Center is huge. The doors to get in to pick up your badges and enter the exhibit hall is all the way down to Hall E which is past the main entrance that you see in the first picture. Once you enter, you'll see the Welcome to Wondercon! banner. Before you can get into the exhibit hall you'll need to head down the stairs to pick up your badges.

Jeff Lamm's Aurora Mixed Glow Greasebat Release

Monster Worship x Jeff Lamm's Aurora Mixed Glow Greasebat will be released this Friday, March 23rd at 7PM Eastern Time HERE. Greasebat is approximately 7"tall and has 3 points of articulation. $75 each + shipping.

This release is made of mix parts of green vinyl and glow in the dark with a few simple paint accents.

Jeff wanted to mimic the old Aurora model kits popularized in the 1960’s and 70’s. This release features killer new front header card artwork from Mr. Lamm.

Toy Art Gallery is the US Distributor for Secret Base's Spongebob X-RAY DX.

A collaboration between Nickelodeon and Secret Base, the SpongeBob X-RAY DX is 5 inches of Japanese soft vinyl with a full internal vinyl skeleton. This first release celebrates the duality of the ‘Bob with half the figure fully painted in the traditional SpongeBob colors and the other side left clear exposing the bones underneath.

The SpongeBob X-RAY DX set comes with one of five exclusive T-shirts (two Secret Base versions and three Secret Base x DOARAT versions) and retails for $185 each.

There is also a new color Gnocchi in Blue which you can get if you purchase 2 or more Sofubi toys.
