VIZ MEDIA Announces NARUTO Manga Creator to make Appearances At 2015 NY Comic Con

Renowned Creator Of Bestselling Manga Series Makes First-Ever U.S. Appearance At NY Comic Con, And Will Appear At Kinokuniya And Barnes & Noble Manhattan Locations

San Francisco, CA, August 4, 2015 – VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media), the largest publisher, distributor and licensor of manga and anime in North America, prepares to welcome Masashi Kishimoto, the renowned creator of the NARUTO manga (graphic novel) series, for his first-ever U.S. appearance at the 2015 New York Comic Con and delights fans with today’s news that Kishimoto also will participate in a pair of signings sessions and in-store appearances as part of New York Super Week, co-sponsored by the Japan Foundation. The personal appearances will take place at the Manhattan locations of Kinokuniya Bookstore and Barnes & Noble Tribeca, on October 9^th and 10^th, respectively.

ARK: Survival Evolved Gamescom 2015 Trailer

Straight from the Microsoft Gamescom Press Conference in Cologne, Germany, Studio Wildcard announced that ARK: Survival Evolved will be part of the Xbox Preview Program this year and revealed an all-new trailer for the occasion. Packed with advanced gun battles, a never-seen-before snow biome, and a boss that would make Shelob shiver, this new ARK trailer shouldn’t be missed! Developed by Studio Wildcard, in conjunction with Instinct Games, ARK: Survival Evolved will hit full release in June 2016 on the Xbox One via the ID@Xbox program, PlayStation®4 with Project Morpheus support, and on Steam.

Spocom NorCal Recap

Spocom NorCal was held Saturday, August 1st at Club Auto Sport in San Jose, CA. This was our first time attending this show. The only thing they could have done better was have a sign for the Will Call line. The main line to get in was pretty short when we got there about 10 minutes before the show opened. It was a nice, sunny day in San Jose. Overall it was a nice chilled event. Not as big as Evolution. Check out our slideshow below for pictures from the show! Bloodborne HUNTER Statue by Gecco

Gecco announced the release information for Bloodborne HUNTER Statue in Original Color and "Puddle of Blood" Version. Both Versions are 1/6 scale and will cost $299 each. The "Puddle of Blood" Version is Limited to 1200 pieces worldwide. The Original Color version is scheduled to be released December 2015 and the "Puddle of Blood" Version will be released February 2016.

On Friday, July 31, PEANUTS Celebrates the 47^th Anniversary of “Franklin,” it’s First African-American Character!

"Harriet Glickman, a school teacher wrote a letter to the comic strip’s creator Charles M. Schulz following the death of Martin Luther King urging him that an African American character needed to be added to the popular comic strip.  “Franklin Armstrong” was introduced on July 31, 1968, representing the importance of desegregation."
