Following the overwhelming success of its recent Kickstarter campaign and a new round of strategic investment, the 48-year-old publishing icon is expanding its reach into television, film, gaming, and collectibles. Visitors to the booth will be treated to exclusive SDCC variant covers of Issue #2, as well as a sneak peek at a limited-edition, artist-driven apparel collection that fuses Heavy Metal’s heritage of boundary-pushing art with modern style.
Genseven Creations, an independent publishing house founded in 2018, focuses on original graphic novels that deliver unique, character-driven narratives. Genseven Creations founder Allen Ling recently invested in Heavy Metal International as part of the strategic investor round and will help play a part in the brands future. Genseven will also present a selection of exclusive SDCC merchandise at the booth.
