October is nearly upon us, and that means New York Comic-Con is almost here! Running from October 3rd to 6^th, one of the largest pop culture conventions in America will have hundreds of exhibitors showing their wares – including Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant Ltd.! At Booth #1644, the companies will have upcoming products on display, and they will present a panel in room 1C03 at 4:00 on Saturday. Plus, exclusives! Real Ghostbusters Select Action Figures Coming to Stores in Late 2018

Fans are delighted to get Diamond Select Toys’ Select action figures based on the first and second Ghostbusters movies, with buildable dioramas of the Spook Central rooftop and the Firehouse façade. Now, it’s time to get real! The highly anticipated Real Ghostbusters action figures go up for pre-order on June 20^th, and we’ve got the first official pics of the figures based on the hit 1980s cartoon series!

Egon, Winston and Slimer make up the Series 9 assortment, with the two ’Busters wearing their color-coded jumpsuits and packing all-new, cartoon-accurate gear, and Slimer coming with a support stand and three interchangeable faces! Designed by Yuri Tming, and sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios, each figure packs approximately 16 points of articulation, and Slimer features all-new arm sculpts to better match his animated look.

Funko Announced Their Final Wave of SDCC 2015 Exclusives

Funko announced their 10th and final round of SDCC 2015 Exclusives. There will be an exclusive POP! Batman vs Superman 2-Pk, POP! Breaking Bad "Blue Crystal" Heisenberg and they will be debuting their POP! Tees at SDCC which comes in a nice POP! Tee Box. There will be Disco Skeletor, 8-Bit Freddy Funko, SDCC Freddy Funko, Burnt Stay Puft, TMNT Skyline Group and Black Widow Shield which is only available for Women. All T-Shirt will be available in sizes XS-3X except the Black Widow which will only be available for Women in XS-3X.

Funko Reveals Some SDCC 2014 Exclusives

Funko has revealed some of the SDCC 2014 exclusives this week through contests that they have held on social media (twitter, instagram, facebook). The first group revealed is a bunch of Ghostbusters POP! Vinyl and a Black & White ReAction Rocketeer Action Figure. More pics below after the jump and also the second batch of exclusives revealed. Fugitive Toys just announced one of their SDCC Exclusives this year. They will have an exclusive Funko POP! Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Fugitive Toys is holding a contest to win of these in instagram and the winner will be the first one to own this before these get sold at SDCC.

Diamond Select Toys' Giant Ghostbusters Mr. Stay Puft Photo Contest

Diamond Select Toys is having a Giant Ghostbusters Mr. Stay Puft Photo Contest. Contest details below:

 "Mr. Stay-Puft is back, and this time, he's not just attacking New York City! Both the "Good" and "Evil" versions of Diamond Select Toys' new 24-inch Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man bank are in comic shops and specialty stores around the world starting today, and we want the fans to document his rampage! Fan-submitted photos will be posted on the official DST Facebook page, and every month one entry will win awesome prizes, including some sweet Ghostbusters merch!

Here's what you do: Simply photograph your 24-inch Mr. Stay-Puft (either good or evil variety) somewhere near where you live. It could be the beach, the forest, the desert, the mountains, a city street, or even in front of a sign welcoming people to your town -- we just want to see where Mr. Stay-Puft has been! Send the picture off to collectdst@gmail.com, and each month we'll post a new batch of pictures on our Facebook page. One of the pictures we post will be randomly chosen to win that month's prize! Prize packages will include $100 worth of toys and collectibles from DST!

Rules: Photos must be at least 600 x 800 pixels. One entry per person per monthly cycle. Duplicate entries will not be included in the drawing. If you do not win, a new photo can be submitted after the start of the new month. A previously submitted picture cannot be submitted again. All entries become the property of Diamond Select Toys, and can be used on various Websites and social media sites. Prize package value is based on suggested retail price of all items combined. Winners are prohibited from entering any DST contest again for one year."

DST's Stay Puft Marshmallow Man & Godzilla Banks

DST (Diamond Select Toys) announced that these 2 huge items have shipped to local retailers this week. First up is a massively huge 24" tall Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Bank and has an SRP of $124.99.

Finally, DST has shipped the Godzilla Classic 1989 Vinyl Figural Bank which is based on his appearance in the 1989 movie "Godzilla vs Biollante". Measures 12" tall and 18" to the tip of his tail. SRP is $34.99.
