A Closer Look: Paul Kaiju's Boss Carrion Pinkysnout Figure

My first and only Boss Carrion figure so far. This is the Pinkysnout version which was released at Designer Con back in November last year. A few of these were also released on Paul's website the same day as well along with another version. I love the colors and love the details on this figure. Boss Carrion stands 8" tall and has plenty of articulation in the arms, legs and head. The sculpt is amazing and just owning one of these is something special. Paul has a great palette when it comes to painting. All of the colors just go so well together. Every collection needs one of these in it!

Recap of Leecifer & Paul Kaiju's Custom Show @ Super7

Last night, Super7 hosted the Leecifer & Paul Kaiju Custom Show. The show was awesome as expected from seeing all the teaser pictures. Both artists brought the heat and they did not disappoint!!! It was a real treat to see so many of Paul Kaiju's customs in one place. The best part was that anyone who was at the show last night had the opportunity to own at least one of his customs. The turnout for the show was great and as usual the show was very casual and low key. Leecifer brought a whole lot of customs and paintings. He never disappoints when he has a show. There's always a lot to choose from. It was a great show last night and the weather was excellent on top of it where earlier in the week the weather forecasters were talking rain and possibility of snow.

Check Super7 to pick up the newest Monster Family Releases that were released last night at the show, Leecifer's Honoo The Flame and Paul Kaiju's Party Ball here. Also check back Tomorrow on Super7's webstore to see what customs are left.

You can check out the pictures here. If you want to read the slightly longer recap you can check it on our website here.

Paramount Pictures' Newest Animated Film Rango

Here's the Synopsis:

From the director of "The Pirates of the Caribbean" comes RANGO, featuring Johnny Depp in an original animated comedy-adventure that takes moviegoers for a hilarious and heartfelt walk in the Wild West. The story follows the comical, transformative journey of Rango (Depp), a sheltered chameleon living as an ordinary family pet, while facing a major identity crisis. After all, how high can you aim when your whole purpose in life is to blend in? When Rango accidentally winds up in the gritty, gun-slinging town of Dirt — a lawless outpost populated by the desert's most wily and whimsical creatures — the less-than-courageous lizard suddenly finds he stands out. Welcomed as the last hope the town has been waiting for, new Sheriff Rango is forced to play his new role to the hilt... until, in a blaze of action-packed situations and encounters with outrageous characters, Rango starts to become the hero he once only pretended to be. With a cast that includes Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Harry Dean Stanton, Ray Winstone and Timothy Olyphant as the Spirit of the West, Rango is an exciting new twist on the classic Western legend of the outsider who saves a town — and himself in the process.

You can check out the Rango Trailer here. From what we have seen, the animation is awesome! The story, not quite sold on it yet but will have to check it out when it hits theaters. Rango will be in Theaters March 4th.
