LEGO The Hobbit Announces 3 New DLC Packs

LEGO The Hobbit announced that 3 New DLC Packs are now available to download on Xbox Live & Playstation Network.

The Big Little Character Pack - Strike a little fear and terror into the hearts of your foes with Baby Smaug, or enjoy a cameo appearance of Baby Gimli from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The LEGO big figure Snow Troll is sure to shake things up and you'll also have the chance to play as Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took or a Stone Dwarf from Erebor.

The Side Quest Character Pack - Take command of a LEGO big figures River Troll or Girion, the last Lord of Dale. The noble Elk will offer you transport wherever you desire, or you can charge into battle with the fearless Dwarf soldier. Have you ever wondered what a Wizard does on his day off? Enjoy the simpler pleasures of life with Saruman (Day Off).

The Battle Pack - Destroy Morgul LEGO with the Shadow Sword, equip yourself with Jeweled Mithril Armor of the finest Dwarven craftsmanship, or activate the Light Orb Shield for the ultimate protection. The Axe Guitar, Orc Cleaver and Orc Bow will make short work of your opponents, while a pair of Lake-town Boots and Smaugs Feet will keep you adventuring in style! Just wanted to mention that this a good year to be a TMNT collector! Tons of new toys and vinyl toys from both Funko and other companies.

Funko announced quite a few new TMNT releases that will be released within the next few months. Super excited to for the Mystery Minis! The price point on these is great at $6.95 and the chances of getting the character that you want is 1/12 so each figure is equal. These will be available in July!

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Minimates

In stores this week is the new Amazing Spider-Man 2 Minimates. This is the 56th series of the Marvel Minimates. There are 4 different 2-Packs.

• Battle-Damaged Spider-Man dons a fireman's helmet to take on a metallic Electro, with lightning attachments and an energy base
• Spider-Man battles a grinning Green Goblin using his webline and megaphone accessories
• Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy with a Spider-Man mask, backpack and phone
• Electro's boss Alistair Smythe with a briefcase and a pre-Rhino Aleksei Sytsevich with a machine gun and an alternate pantsless pair of legs  

These four two-packs are exclusively available at comic shops and specialty stores, although Toys "R" Us and toysrus.com will receive slightly different versions of the two Spider-Man sets – one with a serious-faced Green Goblin and one with a translucent Electro. Toys "R" Us will also have their own exclusive two-pack, featuring a "Flashback" version of Spider-Man and a pre-accident Max Dillon with briefcase and newspaper.

AVP: Evolution Introduces All-New Predalien Playable Character & Battle Generator

Fox Digital Entertainment and Angry Mob Games updated their popular “AVP: Evolution” mobile game to include the fan-favorite “Predalien” as a playable character.

The Predalien is half-Predator, half-Alien and all around intergalactic badass. Boasting incredible strength, a multi-spiked tail, killer mandibles and an iconic set of dreads, the Predalien combines the deadliest attributes of both legendary species. Adding to the fun is the “Battle Generator”, an all-new feature allowing players to pick their prey and create their very own customized hunts. 

 In AVP: Evolution, players become the ultimate Alien and the Predator sci-fi hunting machine and must battle their way through a distant planet featuring ominous environments, heavily armed marines, combat androids, and loads of lethal surprises!

Takashi Murakami & Pharrell Premieres Music Video From Jellyfish Eyes

The Creators Project, a partnership between Intel and VICE, has premiered the exclusive animated music video for "Last Night, Good Night (Re:Dialed)" the theme song for Takashi Murakami's debut film JELLYFISH EYES. Pharrell Williams, Murakami's frequent collaborator, remixed the song by livetune, which also features Hatsune Miku, a "virtual idol" developed from vocaloid software who has a huge cult following in Japan. Murakami then animated the song in his signature style. 

Describing the inspiration for the video, Murakami said: "Somewhere in the eternity of outer space, Pharrell, Miku, and the composer of the song, livetune, are describing my film JELLYFISH EYES to a seemingly heartless robot audience. Somehow the film's message manages to reach the robots emotionally and cross the boundaries of time and space." 

Speaking about the project, Pharrell said: "Seeing the video come together for this remix was incredible. Takashi's use of colors and characters really speaks to me and allows me to get lost in the many layers of his paintings." 

JELLYFISH EYES is currently on a nationwide tour of major art institutions across the country. Remaining tour stops include The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in DC, Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, and Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York. Murakami and Pharrell also collaborated on a film-inspired t-shirt that will be available at screenings and at the BBCICECREAM NYC Flagship and Webstore.
