KIA ASAMIYA: LEGEND AND COMIC-CON GUEST  KIA ASAMIYA is a veteran Japanese manga artist and designer, whose work spans manga, anime storyboards, and illustration, who debuted in 1986. He is best known for his acclaimed Japanese manga and anime properties Silent Möbius and Steam Detectives, and expanded his reach internationally in 1999 with stints on Batman, X-Men, and Star Wars for DC Comics and Marvel Comics. In 2024, Kia Asamiya received the prestigious Japanese Nebula Awards for his contributions to science fiction. San Diego Comic-Con 2025 marks Asamiya-sensei's return to the event after 25 years, as he continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his fusion of visual storytelling and sci-fi imagination. Asamiya-sensei will be the spotlight guest on a feature panel to share with fans his visions and experience in the anime and manga industry for the past 40 years!  The panel will be held Thursday July 24, 2025, at 3:30pm to 4:30pm in Room 24 ABC. Horror, Inc. Announces Jason Universe SDCC Panel and Giveaways

Horror, Inc. is celebrating the 45th anniversary of Friday the 13th at San Diego Comic-Con this year with a Friday evening panel packed with exclusive first looks, multiple standout giveaways, and never before heard insights from the original members of the family that started it all.

Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. today announced its lineup of Gundam-related activities at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), one of the world’s largest pop culture and entertainment conventions. The event will take place in San Diego, USA, from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27, 2025.

As the last nationally broadcast horror host on the air, Svengoolie represents a unique legacy in television history, blending classic monster movies with comedy and fan engagement to keep this beloved tradition alive since the 1970s – and on MeTV since 2011. Apple’s Hit Drama 'Silo' to Make San Diego Comic-Con Debut

Apple TV+ announced that “Silo,” its globally acclaimed and hit world-building drama based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy, will make its San Diego Comic-Con debut on Saturday July 27, 2024 for a panel and conversation around what fans can look forward to in the highly anticipated second season of “Silo” featuring star and executive producer Rebecca Ferguson, star Common, creator and showrunner Graham Yost and executive producer Hugh Howey, plus surprise special guests. The panel will be moderated by Adam Savage (Editor-in-Chief, Tested.com).

LOS ANGELES - July 14, 2022 - Survios, a multi-platform game development studio and publisher, today announced a new collaboration with 20 th Century Games to develop an intense single-player, action-horror game set in the iconic Alien universe and built for PC, console, and VR. More details on the upcoming Aliens game will be revealed at the ALIEN: Expanding a Dark and Frightening Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 21, 2022 from 2:00PM - 3:00PM, in Room 28DE.

The 3RD Annual X-MEN FANDOM PANEL Returns To SDCC 2022

Produced and moderated by Chandler Poling & Chris Riley of X-Reads Podcast - the panel features talent from across the X-Men Universe

 

“You look as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs…” This iconic line delivered by Lenore Zann, the voice of Rogue from X-Men: The Animated Series is one of many stand-out moments in her role as everyone’s favorite southern belle mutant.  Lenore will reprise her role as Rogue in the new X-Men ’97 animated series on Disney + coming 2023.

 

She is joined on the panel by Marvel artist Ken Lashley (X-Men Prime, X-Men Gold), toy influencer and Marvel Legends reviewer Shartimus Prime (aka Russ Akin), popular X-Men fan artist Art of Lucas, and roleplayer/cosplayer Alicia Marie (@aliciamariebody) known across the world for her portrayal of Storm.

 

Audience members will receive an SDCC Exclusive print by X-Men: The Animated Series director and character artist Larry Houston.
