Toy Art Gallery Presents "GNOSIS"

Toy Art Gallery is proud to present “GNOSIS” featuring Blood Guts Toys, Deathcat Toys, Grizlli Atom, kto kto, and Snatchpunch, with special guests Aaron Brookes, Monsterisland, Popsoda, and Purple Toys.

 

GNOSIS features custom toys and collaborations between these amazing artists including special one-off Elder Demons and Deathcats, Bostyrants, Izumonsters, and more!

 

The show also features the debut of TAG’s latest soft vinyl production, the Akumaneko (+ Owlene and Psychosophie minis) by Deathcat Toys and Grizlli Atom! Look out for blank editions and special painted customs from the two creators.

Opening reception is Saturday, April 18th from 7-10pm at Toy Art Gallery’s showroom located at 7571 Melrose Ave. Hollywood CA 90046. Deathcat Toys, Grizlli Atom, and Snatchpunch will be in attendance.

"Idol Worship" at Toy Art Gallery This Saturday

"Idol Worship" Opening Reception is this Saturday, April 5th (7pm- 10pm) at Toy Art Gallery . Idol Worship features the works of Brian Flynn, Tim Clarke, Yakimon, Grizlli Atom, Shirahama/Yatsuashi and Frenzy Bros. If you can't make it to the opening reception, the show runs until April 26th.

Grizlli Atom will have a few exclusive of The Old Ones at Designer Con. The middle picture will be a TAG (Toy Art Gallery) Exclusive Release and the other 2 releases you will have to find Grizlli as he'll be selling them out of a backpack at the show.

Lulubell Toys x Velocitron NYCC Release Schedule

Lulubell just released their NYCC schedule that includes release day & time for their exclusives. Preview night is today.

Preview Night Schedule Release is:

Mike Egan's Bones + Lucky (Cherry Red Rubbed Lucky Devil & Untouched Cherry Red Bones) $60 each & Limited to 25 each. Pic is above.

Grody Shogun will be releasing the Swampy DBags (pic on the left) for $25 & Collaboration with Doubleparlour Chiba Bahnee for $25. There will be more Grody, Kill!, Restore Resins etc.. that's not shown so it'll be a surprise.

Above is some of what Velocitron will have at NYCC. These will all be available starting on Preview night. Denchu $15, Kuchisake Onna $50, Marbled Betchagon $15, Nilbog  $15, Warlords $10, BlobPus x Velocitron Raou $100.

Lulubell will also be releasing "Tie-Dye" Vinyl of Shirahama Toys' Kumon. 1 will be released each day starting on preview night and 2 on Sunday. To see which one will be released that day, follow @luluamy on instagram. These will cost $50 each.

Metacrypt's Shub Zeroth Lunar will be available at both Lulubell & Brian Ewing's Booth. $100 each.

MVH Skull Brain All Stars Death Head DX Release Details

MVH will be releasing the Skull Brain All Stars Death Head DX this Friday, April 26th at 8PM Eastern in the MVH Shop. MVH asked 5 awesome toy painters (Ungawa222, DLUX, Gatchabert, Hellopike & Nebulon5) on SB (skullbrain.org) to do a small micro run of 5 per toy painter. There will also be a micro run of 5 painted by MVH as well which will be a surprise as no pictures have been revealed yet.

• Cast in royal purple vinyl
• 6 different color ways, 5 from SB artist listed as well as myself.
• Painted in multiple ways and multiple colors. This is the first time I can remember this being done !
• Limited to 1 per person and at a retail of $100.00. I wanted to keep the run price low so to help get these artist pieces out there.
• Silk screened headers

MVH also asked a few SB members to illustrate their take on the Death Head DX. You will see their artwork silkscreened on the headers of this release.

Splurrt's Lineup for NYCC 2012

Splurrt will have a heavy hitter of releases for NYCC on Saturday at 12PM. Make sure to stop at the Monster Island Booth #3317 first and pick these up! Make sure to bring Lots of CASH. For now Splurrt will only be accepting CASH.

From Splurrt regarding prices:

"As far as prices go, the Beastman Digglers will be $75, MVH DXs will be $125, Baby Huey price isn't final yet but probably around $125. And one offs will range between $60-90."
