Kaijufornia Vol.2 took place on September 27th, 2025 at Bear Cave CCG in Northridge, CA. We were in So Cal and decided to check it out while we were down there. We were unable to attend last year's show. It was a chill event with a small group of local toy makers such as The Beast is Back, Uh-Oh Toys, Secret Handshake Toys and more. If you are in So Cal, this is a show that you should attend. Easy to get what you want with minimal crowds and lines. No date has been announced for next year yet but we will keep you posted when we find out. In the meantime, check out our pics above for a slideshow of what you missed. 

Hasbro Unveils the Logo & Character Image of “Kiya & the Kimoja Heroes” at Licensing Expo

A new kind of hero is in town, introducing Kiya & the Kimoja Heroes!

Coming from the Las Vegas Licensing Expo, Hasbro and its entertainment studio, eOne, are excited to present the new preschool series’ lead character and logo. Kiya & the Kimoja Heroes follows the high-action adventures of dance and martial arts-loving Kiya, and her best friends Jay and Motsie. Together, with their crystal-charged powers, they are superheroes in the Southern-African inspired Kimoja City, shining bright to make things right until harmony and unity is restored in their community. The show is set to launch globally on Disney+, amongst other platforms, in 2023.

Hasbro’s initial licensed consumer products program for Kiya focuses on toys, apparel, dress up, role play and publishing.

Plus, special Krofft alumni guest, Christopher Knight from The Brady Bunch Hour! Wondercon 2022 This Weekend!!!

It's been way too long since we last attended a show. Wondercon Anaheim is this weekend, April 1-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. Badges can still be purchased HERE. San Jose, Calif. – Sept. 21, 2015 – The original Captain Kirk, William Shatner, has set coordinates for Silicon Valley Comic Con (SVCC), Steve Wozniak’s pop culture and technology expo debuting in March 2016. Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural event, which has added a Friday night opening due to overwhelming interest and support. SVCC will bring top celebrities, film, TV, independent artists, comic books, cosplay, video games, music and technology to the San Jose Convention Center the weekend of March 18-20, 2016.

As the first official details for SVCC to be revealed, William Shatner will host a special 50th anniversary celebration for Star Trek alongside other stars from the acclaimed TV and film series. More information about the celebration and the rest of the special events for SVCC will be released later this fall.

Designer Con This Weekend!

Are you ready for Designer Con this weekend? Purchase your tickets now for $5 for one day or $10 for both days on their website here or you can purchase your tickets at the door for $7 per day. Doors open on Saturday at 9am! If you purchase a 2-day badge you can attend Designer Con's Pajama Party on Saturday night from 8pm - Midnight. They'll have snacks, drinks and games.

(BTW, for those who are elegible to purchase badges for next year's SDCC, the time to buy your tickets is unfortunately, the same time that DCon starts on Saturday.)

Brian Flynn is the coolest nerd you’ll ever meet. He grew up in Texas as a self-proclaimed Star Wars freak that was inspired by skateboarding, punk rock, action figures, robots and spacemen. He now calls San Francisco home and keeps himself busy as the creative director and co-founder of Hybrid Design. Over the years he has built a stellar client list including Nike, Apple, TED, Levi’s, Starwood Hotels, Lucasfilm, Juxtapoz Magazine and more. He is also the driving force behind the Super7 store, a retail brand he created to sell limited edition toys, apparel and publications that celebrate Flynn’s fascination with vintage Kaiju. Brian has participated in many group shows with Subtext over the years, and Memories of Tomorrow marks his second solo exhibition with our gallery.
