Another one of our favorite outside events is from Super7. They had 2 different events this year held at their store which is a few blocks from the convention center. They had Hordak's Lair starting on Preview Night to Thursday of SDCC and then Friday evening to Sunday was The Boodega. Stormtroopers at SDCC

Kotobukiya had this elaborate setup of the Star Wars' Stormtoopers with Darth Vader and the Red Guards leading them at SDCC. We just so happened to be there at the right time when a couple of visitors were there in front of the nice display.
