This is Chima Group's Sunset Wool. This is an exclusive release at Grass Hut. Cost for this guy is a bit on the more expensive side of exclusives/regular releases but if Wool is one of your favorite sculpts then this is a must have in your collection regardless of price. This is still available at Grass Hut as well as a few customs from Chima Group's Mini show that they had at Grass Hut late last year.

The Toy Box: Hanna-Barbera PVC Figures
One of the best finds or releases regarding Hanna-Barbera figures were these little PVC figures by Big Head Company. Got these quite a few years ago. They are sorta blind box if you buy them separately but if you buy them by the case you are guaranteed a whole set. For such small figures the quality is superior to those of lets say Jazwares PVC figures which are in stores now. These were made in China but produced by Big Head Company located in Japan. There are 16 PVC figures to complete the set.
First up is the Jetsons. Totally remember watching The Jetsons every morning before school. Here's George, Jane, Judy, Elroy, Astro & Rosey.
Wacky Races - Penelope Pitstop, Dick Dastardly & Muttley. Secret Squirrel & Morocco Mole.

Baba Looey & Quick Draw McGraw, Atom Ant, Wally Gator & Mr. Twiddle
Never really found out if there were more series made after this one. If you're a huge Hanna-Barbera fan or if these bring you back to you when you were a kid, definitely track these guys down. These are small enough to fit on your desk at work.

The Toy Box: Jazwares Nicktoons Ren & Stimpy Figures & Plush
This week has been a pretty good week in awesome toy finds. Was checking out the toy aisle at Target and came across new Ren & Stimpy Toys by Jazwares. Ren & Stimpy is part of Jazwares Nicktoons line. Other cartoons in this line is Rugrats, Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron, T.U.F.F. Puppy, Hey Arnold & Catdog.
This is the Boxset of the Collectible Mini Figures. In this set you get Sven, Stimpy, Mr. Horse, Powdered Toastman, Ren & Log. I can't believe they made Sven!!! The good news is they made Sven. The slightly bad news is that the paint apps are not very good. These are 2" tall. They are not scaled properly so that's why Ren is the same size as Powdered Toastman, LOG etc.... Retails for $19.99.

Then there are the talking plush. They are approx. 7" tall. Stimpy has a squeaky nose and elastic tongue. Arms & legs are pose-able. Push his stomach to hear him talk, burp, fart etc... Ren has googly eyes, pose-able arms & legs and you can also push his stomach to hear him talk etc... These retail for $7.99 each.
The Ren & Stimpy figures & plush are exclusive to Target stores.
Super stoked to find new Ren & Stimpy Toys. Any huge fan has to have them. The downside is when you buy them and check them out sometimes the quality isn't up to par.
These figures are ok but if you compared them to what Palisades Toys came out with years ago, the quality of their figures were excellent. The paint apps were as good as you can get too. Too bad the now defunct Palisades Toys is no longer around.
Still stoked to get new Ren & Stimpy toys regardless of the issues.

Chima Group's "Cranberry Soda" Amedas. So stoked to finally get this guy in hand. Love the pink fade. I think there has been at least 40 Amedas version released so far, not counting the customs or the latest exclusive for LOFT which I'm sad to not have yet. :(

The Toy Box: Chima Group's Formal "Banana Coat"
Chima Group recently introduced us to their newest figure Formal - A Strange Bird. Formal wears a bowler hat and for their first release he has on a banana coat. (Don't you see the resemblance of a banana?) Formal is the tallest so far of all the Chima Group figures. He stands 5.25" tall and has 1 point of articulation on the neck. You can rotate his head. You can purchase Formal directly from Chima Group or if you were quick enough last week, you could've picked him up at Rotofugi. As of this post, Rotofugi is sold out of Formal.

The Toy Box: Medicom's Ren & Stimpy "Space Madness" Bearbrick Set
Medicom's Ren & Stimpy "Space Madness" Bearbrick Set. Oh come on! Who doesn't love Ren & Stimpy? Favorite Cartoon ever!!! So stoked to see these released. It's a shame they couldn't make some of the other characters from the Ren & Stimpy show. Medicom also released regular versions that was in their Horror series a couple of years back. They also made 400% bearbricks as well.
Since these were on a blister pack, I didn't want to ruin the card so did not open it. If you love Ren & Stimpy you have to have these!!!

The Toy Box: RxH Mini Tanuki
Today's toy from the Toy Box is RxH's (Real x Head) Mini Tanuki x3. These are Japanese Raccoon Dogs. 3.5 inches tall. Couldn't pass these up when they popped up at a U.S. retailer. It's definitely hard to get these unless you are living in Japan. The ones shown above are Brown with white eyes, Pink & Brown with yellow eyes.
From Wikipedia, The legendary Tanuki has eight special traits that bring good fortune. They are:
- a hat to be ready to protect against trouble or bad weather;
- big eyes to perceive the environment and help make good decisions;
- a sake bottle that represents virtue;
- a big tail that provides steadiness and strength until success is achieved;
- over-sized testicles that symbolize financial luck;
- a promissory note that represents trust or confidence;
- a big belly that symbolizes bold and calm decisiveness; and
- a friendly smile

Today's Toy Box features, Real x Head's Bakenofuji.
These are on Glow in the dark vinyl. 3" tall.
These are pretty hard to get here in the states and was lucky enough to grab these at the right time they went up for sale. These go for about $15 a piece. They are imported from Japan.
These little sumo guys glow bright! They come in various other colors as well but if you want to catch them all you'll have to be in Japan specifically near the Real x Head store when they get released.

The Toy Box: Funko POP! Sanrio Keroppi & Chi Chai Monchan
When I heard that Funko POP! was going to be making Sanrio characters, I was pretty surprised. Well, I guess I really shouldn't be so surprised since there are Hello Kitty collaborations or product releases from other companies besides Sanrio themselves. These look awesome!
The great thing about Funko POP! is that they're really affordable at $10 except the ones that you buy at the Disney Store and Hot Topic which is $12.50 unless you get them on sale or on clearance. There's a ton of them to collect so if you're a Super POP! collector you'll be collecting any and all including chase/prototype figures.
The only downside is the paint apps. Some are horrible while others are very minor and you can live with it. It's best to buy them in person since you can choose the one with the best paint.
