Grass Hut Retail Store Closing & The Final Show Featuring Tim Biskup & Yakimon

For those lucky enough to live near Grass Hut in Portland, OR, make sure to visit Grass Hut for their final show "The End!" featuring Tim Biskup & Yakimon on December 5th. They will both have art & toy releases. Tim Biskup will be releasing his Final Pollard "Toy Killer".

Sadly, Grass Hut has decided to close their retail space and will be selling via their online store only and will be attending more shows next year.

Grass Hut & Friends Heading To NYCC 2013

Bwana Spoons / Grass Hut & Friends will be heading to NYCC for the first time and will be at Booth #204. Make sure to stop by their booth and pick up some cool toys & art!

Bakerz Dozen at Grass Hut

Grass Hut will be hosting the Bakerz Dozen on Wednesday, July 3rd. The Bakerz Dozen show features 13 Artists/Skateboarders each with their own deck design & an art show.

Grass Hut will be hosting a Cop A Squat Mini Show this Wednesday, July 3rd. There will be a Grass Hut exclusive Semi Korosiya seen in the pic above as well as some prints and other goodies.

Josh Herbolsheimer at Grass Hut This Thursday!!!

Josh Herbolsheimer will be having a solo show at Grass Hut this coming Thursday, June 6th. Josh will have paintings as well as custom toys. Most of you know that Josh works at Super7 and is the creator of Earth Wolf that was produced by Medicom, Rose Vampire, Rose Vampire DX, Micro Rose Vampire, Casket Cruiser, Fossilla & Caveman Dinosaur produced by Super7. Josh is a really nice, down to earth guy. Make sure to stop by Grass Hut and meet Josh in person while checking out his awesome paintings & custom toys.

Paul Kaiju posted up some of the customs (via instagram) he's working on for his solo show at Grass Hut on May 2, 2013. He also confirmed on twitter that he will be in attendance at his show as well. If you're up in the Oregon area, seriously do not miss this show!

T9G x Koraters @ Grass Hut

T9G x Koraters is being held at Grass Hut. The mini exhibition started on Monday, April 15th (tax deadline for those in the U.S.). There are still some awesome pieces still available. The top row features customs by T9G and the bottom row customs/toy release by Koraters. Those pieces are still available as of 4/16/13. There are more than what is shown but you can check out what's left over at the Grass Hut store HERE.

Grass Hut Micro Avocado Blind Box

Grass Hut will be releasing their Micro Avocado Blind Box on Friday, March 8th. Avocado Green Helper, Killer, Ojo Rojo, Boris, and Hujili's Ghost. $10 each. There will also be a few unpainted Pink micros, hand painted runs & even chase customs as well. There will be a bit of a price break for six packs & bakers dozen.

The Toy Box: Chima Group's Sunset Wool

This is Chima Group's Sunset Wool. This is an exclusive release at Grass Hut. Cost for this guy is a bit on the more expensive side of exclusives/regular releases but if Wool is one of your favorite sculpts then this is a must have in your collection regardless of price. This is still available at Grass Hut as well as a few customs from Chima Group's Mini show that they had at Grass Hut late last year.

Dinoballs! & Chima Group Show at Grass Hut

Grass Hut will be hosting a Dinoballs! show this coming Thursday, December 6th. Looks like Chima Group will have their mini show at the same time as Dinoballs! Most of Chima Group's toys fits in with the prehistoric themed Dinoballs! Show.

Chima Group Mini Show at Grass Hut

Chima Group announced that they will have a mini show at Grass Hut in the middle of November around the 1st/2nd week of December (per Bwana of Grass Hut). No specific date has been announced by Grass Hut yet so will update this once we find out. Chima Group will have quite a few customs that they previously had at a few events in the past couple of months. They will have Custom Ninja Amedas, Lantern Ten-Gallon, Gardening Wool, Clockwork Wool, Master Bolo & Detective Formal. Also one exclusive release of Gradation Wool Sunset.

Mike Sutfin Battle Rats for Creeping Nomadic

Mike Sutfin will be have his new Battle Rat figures at his show tonight Creeping Nomadic which also features Koji Harmon (aka Cometdebris) at Grass Hut tonight. There will be lots of new works by both artists tonight. Any unsold items at the show tonight will be up in Grass Hut's online store.

Spooky Shop Show at Grass Hut

Spooky Shop Show at Grass Hut with the Opening reception on October 4th from 6pm-9pm and featuring a slew of artist including one of my current favorites companies, Chima Group! This is the first time Chima Group will be participating in an international show! Here's some of the artists/companies that will be participating:
