Franken Molar

Been meaning to post about this guy. Who is this? This is Franken Molar by MM Toys. MM Toys is Mark Bentley aka Hiphoprobottattoo on instagram and his wife Maren Seibold who is an amazing sculptor that sculpted this and many other MM Toys which are coming soon. Currently, the toys coming out from MM Toys are in resin form but they are working to get their toys made in soft vinyl and will be doing some collaborations with Toy Art Gallery where a few prototypes of the resin versions were shown at Designer Con in 2014.

Franken Molar stands 3.5" tall. Made of resin. Has real screws on the sides of his neck. Franken Molar will be made into soft vinyl.

LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin Key Art Revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment just released the key art for LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin, coming to Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita on March 24, 2015.

In LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin, players will take on the role of their favorite Ninja warriors and use an array of exciting new vehicles, mechs and dragons to battle their way through the Ninjago universe. A new enemy named Ronin enters the game and has the ability to steal the memories of Ninja warriors by using the Obsidian Glaive weapon. Players must locate these weapons and retrieve their powers before Ronin succeeds in completing his evil plans. 

LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin will be available exclusively on Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

Funko Launches Marvel Collector Corps Subscription

Funko announced that they have Officially launched the Marvel Collector Corps Subscription Service. This is a bi-monthly subscription for $25 + shipping. You can also purchase a yearly subscription where you will receive an exclusive Founder Statue. The first box will ship in April and the theme is Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron and includes exclusive figures, apparel and accessories.

Mezco Toyz announced today that they have joined forces with Gigantor.

Our development team was able to borrow an original screen-used prop that was carefully studied and a direct casting was taken to ensure accuracy. When studying the original prop we discovered it was made from lightweight material that looked like metal but was not actually metal. This was for practical purposes and in the on-screen world creates and entirely convincing illusion. However, each Factory Entertainment replica is crafted from actual metal to give it a heavy and suitably regal feel in the off-screen world. Each replica is then finished in a lustrous gold effect metal and has inset reproduction gemstones.

The replica includes a specially designed iron sword motif display stand, the allows the replica to rest on the hilts of 4 swords. A numbered limited edition, each replica includes an individually numbered plaque medallion cast in metal and is presented in a full color box with a certificate of authenticity.

The worldwide production run is limited to 1,500 pieces.
