Shout! Studios at San Diego Comic-Con 2023

Shout! Studios is thrilled to announce its return to the convention center this summer for San Diego Comic-Con 2023! Showcasing fan favorites and the best of pop culture, this year’s highlights include ALF, a photo opportunity and giveaways in celebration of the studio’s new partnership with Aardman Animations, Shout! TV’s Always a Sword: A Sword & Sorcery Adventure marathon, SDCC exclusive giveaways, and more! Visit the Shout! Studios booth at #4118 to check out this year’s activities.  

This year, Shout! will be giving away a number of exclusive items at its booth. Everyone’s favorite alien is back—in milk cap form—with the SDCC exclusive ALF Milk Cap toy, promoting the series’ latest home on Shout! TV. Fans of animation classics from Aardman Animations won’t want to miss Shaun the Sheep headbands or the Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers photo opportunity commemorating the 30^th anniversary of beloved film. Role-playing game enthusiasts can pick up a custom SDCC exclusive Shout! Studios 20-sided die to run their own sword and sorcery adventures, and fans of the cult TV series Farscape can pick up a commemorative button pack. 

Can’t make it to San Diego for the convention this year? Tune into Shout! TV for an exciting lineup of magic spells and epic encounters with Always a Sword: A Sword & Sorcery Adventure. Shout! TV remixes their fan-favorite 2019 celebrity role-playing dungeons and dragons game night special by re-cutting and re-imagining it into an epic episodic series. The quest begins the first night of Comic-Con international, July 19^th, at 8pm ET / 5pm PT only on Shout! TV ! Devil's Due Studios returns to Comic-Con International this year, featuring a stellar line-up of projects, creator appearances and exclusive merchandise only available at the event.
Located in the IP Pavilion at booth 2207.

Devil's Due founder and lead creator Josh Blaylock will be appearing each day, alongside legendary creator Paul Jenkins, rising mega-star Pat Shand, and others to be announced.

Unveiling a major launch months in the works, Devil's Due wil debut the first peek at the anime-inspired, cyberpunk property 0N1 Force's entry into comics - providing a free exclusive Comic-Con Special to attendees, with a sneak peek of the upcoming 0N1 Hunter X, free posters, and live cosplay photo-ops (pronounced 'oh-nee' force) 0N1's two lead writers will be in attendance to sign copies: Eisner nominated, legendary comic book writer Paul Jenkins (Origin of Wolverine, Inhumans), and Blaylock, who is penning the line's other flagship series, will be in attendance to sign copies of the preview which features a sneak peek of the title 0N1 Hunter X (illustrated by Spawn artist Von Randal). The two writers previously worked together when Jenkins penned a relaunch of the G.I. Joe Universe, following Blaylock's own relaunch of the same world, and have now reunited to help develop the 0N1 Force property alongside its co-creator IMCMPLX (Bryan Lie).

IRVINE, Calif. – Leading video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is going Super Saiyan and bringing a tank-load of game demos and more to the 2023 San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC). The titles on display include hot and hotly anticipated games ARMORED CORE™ VI FIRES OF RUBICON™, TEKKEN™8, SAND LAND, NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS, and DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2. With a variety of gameplay activations, experiential installations, photo ops, and swag, attendees are invited to see all that Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has to offer from July 20 – 23 at and around the San Diego Convention Center.

• NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS (Booth #129) – Pose with a Naruto statue and play recently announced characters in a recreation of the Hidden Leaf Village food stand for this action fighting game celebrating the anime’s 20th anniversary. 

• PANEL ROOM ACTIVATIONS – See the Worldwide Premiere of the SAND LAND anime feature film – follow the official SAND LAND Twitter for more information. Join a panel of fighting greats to learn more about TEKKEN 8; SDCC panel details will be revealed at a later time. 

At the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center

• ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON – Pilots wanted! The battle over Rubicon 3 and its valuable resource Coral is in need of capable pilot recruits. In this exciting experiential activation for the upcoming action game from FromSoftware, Inc. (ELDEN RING™, DARK SOULS™), prospective pilots will be able to test their reflexes with a series of challenges and pose with a life-size Armored Core mech.

• TEKKEN 8 – “Fist Meets Fate” in San Diego! Comic-Con attendees will experience a fully immersive TEKKEN installation with artwork, a non-alcoholic beverage station, DJ, cosplayers, temporary tattoos, playable stations, and more.

• DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 – Try out a host of new characters in this acclaimed game, including those who made their debut in the newest Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO movie with Gamma 1, Gamma 2, Orange Piccolo, and Gohan (Beast).
