TITAN COMICS AT SDCC 2024

This San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Titan Comics brings exciting launches, SDCC exclusive variants – by Adam Hughes, Stanley ‘Artgerm’ Lau, Joe Jusko, Dan Panosian, Tehani Farr, Christian Ward - and appearances from a host of guests including Zoe Thorogood (Life is Strange), Jim Zub (Conan the Barbarian), Roman Dirge (I Can Count to Ten), Charles Ardai (Gun Honey), Mellow Brown (Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze, Blade Runner), Janie Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze), plus many more talents from across the comic book industry.

Diamond Comic Distributors announces a fifth wave of PREVIEWS Exclusive items for Comic-Con International: San Diego, taking place July 24 - 28. The selection features comics from Mad Cave Studios and Crusade Comics, featuring the iconic Gatchaman and the fan-favorite Shi, plus collectibles from Fright Rags.

Devil's Due Studios returns to Comic-Con International this year, featuring a stellar line-up of projects, creator appearances and exclusive merchandise only available at the event.
Located in the IP Pavilion at booth 2207.

Devil's Due founder and lead creator Josh Blaylock will be appearing each day, alongside legendary creator Paul Jenkins, rising mega-star Pat Shand, and others to be announced.

Unveiling a major launch months in the works, Devil's Due wil debut the first peek at the anime-inspired, cyberpunk property 0N1 Force's entry into comics - providing a free exclusive Comic-Con Special to attendees, with a sneak peek of the upcoming 0N1 Hunter X, free posters, and live cosplay photo-ops (pronounced 'oh-nee' force) 0N1's two lead writers will be in attendance to sign copies: Eisner nominated, legendary comic book writer Paul Jenkins (Origin of Wolverine, Inhumans), and Blaylock, who is penning the line's other flagship series, will be in attendance to sign copies of the preview which features a sneak peek of the title 0N1 Hunter X (illustrated by Spawn artist Von Randal). The two writers previously worked together when Jenkins penned a relaunch of the G.I. DSTLRY REVEALS EXCLUSIVE MERCH, PANELS & SIGNINGS AT SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2023

LOS ANGELES, CA / NEW YORK, NY – July 10, 2023 – Today, DSTLRY, the next-generation publisher redefining creator-owned comic books and collectibles, revealed its plans for San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). IDW Brings Exclusive Comics & Collections to SDCC 2023

 IDW Publishing is returning to Comic-Con International: San Diego and bringing an exciting variety of exclusives to the show floor! The IDW booth (#2729) will be available to fans exploring the convention’s show floor from July 19-23 and offer more than a dozen variants and signed editions.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES x STRANGER THINGS #1 hits shelves July 12, and fans at SDCC will have exclusive access to renowned illustrator Kyle Lambert’s silver foil paper variant for the thrilling debut issue.

Comic collectors won’t want to miss out on getting an early signed copy of MICHAEL GOLDEN’S MARVEL STORIES ARTIST’S EDITION. Signed by influential comic creator Michael Golden and numbered on a bookplate featuring his astonishing artwork, there will be a very limited amount of copies available.

SDCC 2022 Recap

Super late post but a lot of our pictures can be found on instagram. We will have a link at the end of this post so you can view our pictures from SDCC 2022. 

Recap- 2022 was the first year back in full force since the pandemic. What was different this year was that we had to get a wristband that showed we were vaccinated or had a negative covid test prior to attending. We had to stand in a line to show proof to get the wristband in order to get inside the convention center. For those of us that were there for 4+ days had to wear the wristband, the wristband took a beating lol. You probably could get a new one but why waste more time in another line when there was more important things to do. Everyone was required to mask up which was good because it was just as crowded inside the exhibit hall pre-pandemic.

Exclusives? Of course there were exclusives. A lot of companies like Neca and Mattel had pre-orders to have them shipped after the show. Others, you had to enter a lotto via the comic-con portal to get a chance to get a time slot in order to purchase exclusives. Towards the later part of the day when all the groups that got their chance to purchase exclusives, anyone could get in line to buy what was left that day such as Funko, Mondo etc... Hasbro had their exclusives released differently this year where you had to go to their booth to get a QR Code to be able to purchase their exclusives. Those were gone in a flash once the exhibit hall doors opened. 

 

Noticeably absent from SDCC this year was the massive WB Booth. Some booths that were usually in their same spots year after year moved to different parts of the floor. Funko had a huge presence and turned their huge space into Funkoville. Funko consisted of Loungefly and Mondo which they acquired a few months before SDCC. They also had huge POP! Statues of Squid Games characters.

Silicon Valley Comic Con is back this weekend, April 21-23 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA.

Saturday - 10am - 7pm
Sunday - 10am - 5pm
