eigoMANGA will be at booth # 1430 at Wondercon, April 1-3 20110.

They will be showing a showcase of their original animation such as the feature length movie Demian.

The final issue of the Danity Kane Comic Book Mini Series makes its debut.

Meet some of the creators such as Dahveed Kolodny-Nagy who is the creator of Mad Beanz, David Karrow (Alpha League), Jeff Loew (The Frog Princess).

In addtion to new releases and meeting creators, they will also be having a Portfolio Review so if you want to show your skills you can.

eigoMANGA will be accepting donations on behalf of Doctors Without Borders for the Japan Earthquake & Tsunami relief efforts.

eigoMANGA is also offering free electronic editions of the manga graphic novel Sakura Pakk Versus Rumble Pak with every online donation of $5 or more.

Toys Acquired From the past few weeks!!!

Here's some of our toys that was recently acquired. Many thanks to all the companies we have bought from including, Rotofugi, Super7, Lulubell, Max Toy Co., My Plastic Heart, Double Punch, Monster Worship, Splurrt, Pop Soda, Le Merde and I'm probably forgetting someone but if it wasn't for some of these folks selling/producing awesome toys, our collection wouldn't be where it's at today.

Not everything is shown since some are already displayed and some are still in transit. Will probably get some of these guys a "Review" or perhaps get 'em in " A Closer Look".

Monster Worship x Beak to Release Kusogons & More

Monster Worship & Beak to release Kusogons and a couple of 1 Offs tonight (3/20/11) at 11PM EST at Monster Worship's store. John/Beak is donating a portion of the sales to the American Red Cross to help with the Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Relief.

Steel City Con Kusogon

First up is a Steel City Con Kusogon. It is a blackwash on a blood red base vinyl. These will be housed in can of goods including a miniature psychedelic film print & bag of omake. Kusogon stands about 4" tall with 2 points of articulation. Price is $55 each + shipping.

Beak FCHP Kusogon

There will also be a handpainted Kusogon by Beak. It was painted on a glow base vinyl. Price $65 + shipping.

Macabre Spookhouse Skull Cast in Resin

The final item is a Macabre Spookhouse Skull Cast in Resin and painted by John/Beak. Price $25 + shipping.

Shirahama Agony Relief Kumon Figure

Shirahama will donate all proceeds of this version of Kumon to help relief efforts in Japan. It will be for sale on Shirahama's blog when they are ready to be sold. Kumon in Kanji means agony. Kumon stands 5" tall. The colors for this colorway is metallic blue, black and gold on a white base. His wife Yuriko will be designing the header card. You will also receive 1 1/4" Pin/Badge. Love the colors of this version.

Wondercon Exclusives

Wondercon is just a bit under 2 weeks away now. Wondercon has posted up on their website a few of the exclusives that will be at the show. In case you don't feel like clicking the link to see the exclusives yourselves, below are pics and info of what's listed so far.

First up is a Kobe Bryant Vinyl Figure by Mindstyle and Cool Rain. Kobe is in his away jersey. These will be at the Action Figure Xpress (AFX) Booth #709. The figure stands 5" tall and will retail for $17 (tax included).

Next is from BOOM! Studios, Booth #415 which is a Cars "Get A Sketch" Variant Cover. Kaboom! Artist Travis Hill will be sketching your favorite Cars Characters right before you. Price is unknown at this time.

Lulubell's 1st Shooting Blanks is BlobPus Blobpi Clear Brown

If you're wondering why this isn't a blank GID or Black figure. Here's what Lulubell has said:

"***Although the program was originally designed to be a week pre-order of black, GID or both, we have had some makers step up this week and donate blanks they have in stock, so we'll be posting those first, and colors and quantities will vary.***"

They also stated that BlobPus generously donated a clear brown BlobPi run. The BlobPi stands 4" tall. The Pre-Order will go up for sale tomorrow, March 19th at 10AM PST for $22. Lulubell is Shooting Blanks? What?!? Blanks as in Unpainted Toys from your favorite Japanese Toy Makers. Lulubell has been in process of getting this together to debut in April but with the recent events in Japan, Luke of Lulubell was able to get a few manufacturers on board early. All proceeds made in March from the Shooting Blanks program will be donated to the Relief Efforts in Japan.

This is great for artists who likes to customize figures but hates stripping down painted figures. Every week Lulubell will offer a new toy maker and 1 or 2 of their toys as black, GID or both. Orders will last 1 week or while supplies last. They will only be making the amount ordered.

Rotofugi will be hosting 2 new exhibits at their gallery in Chicago, Andrew Bell's Love the End and Mcbess' Gut Grinder. Both shows will be opening March 25th, 2011 (7PM-10PM) and the exhibit will be up until April 17, 2011. Both of the artist will be in attendance March 25th and will be signing from 7-8PM.
