Wondercon 2011 is officially over. We had a great time. For the 1st time in Wondercon's history they sold out for 3-day Tickets as well as Saturday Tickets. We had a great time and the show gets better every year. It's not nearly as big as SDCC but still fun nonetheless. We have pictures from Mattel, Uglydoll, Kuso Vinyl, Kidrobot, Super7 and lots more..... Baby Tattoo Books at Wondercon

Baby Tattoo Books will be at Booth # 222 and will be giving away a free book by Brandon Ragnar while supplies last. Check out their amazing selection of Art Books!!!

Four Horsemen Giveaway at Wondercon

The Four Horsemen will be giving away a box of goodies to the first person who goes up to Jim Preziosi of the Four Horsemen Design Team and tell him the Wonderphrase of the Day. You can only win once. You need to find him right when the exhibit hall opens. The Four Horsemen will be at Mattel's Booth #436.

You need to check www.fourhorsemen.biz after midnight EST and look for the heading "WONDERPHRASE OF THE DAY" with that day's date next to it. Once you find Jim, you need to recite to Jim verbatim the Wonderphrase.

The WonderPhrase contest is closed to WonderCon exhibitors!

Winners will give their contact info to Jim and the prize packages will be shipped from Four Horsemen Studios warehouse to the winners after WonderCon is over.  Included in each prize pack:  Queen Alluxandra of the Bloodmane Clan, Isadorra of the Ironspynne clan, Swimsuit Edition Queen Alluxandra, a full set of all three Time Keepers, and some surprises!

Don't forgot to check out their Panel on Saturday April 2nd from 3-4PM in Room #104.

IDW To Debut Dorothy of Oz at Wondercon

Stop by IDW Booth # 701 and pick up the Limited Edition Dorothy of Oz which debuts at Wondercon.

"DOROTHY OF OZ, the first in a series of five limited edition comic books, will be officially unveiled at San Francisco’s WonderCon. The comics will fill in the gap for eager franchise fans from the classic L. Frank Baum “Wonderful Wizard of Oz” tale to the upcoming 2012 release of the animated DOROTHY OF OZ, based on the book by his great-grandson Roger Stanton Baum. The comic is produced by Summertime Entertainment and Publishers IDW"

Cartoon Network's Adventure Time at Wondercon

If you are a fan of Cartoon Network's Adventure Time, you can pick up your very own Exclusive shirt at the Mighty Fine booth # 1236. This shirt was designed for the show and will be selling for $25. The Mighty Fine Booth will also be giving out prizes. All you need to do is stop by their booth and pick up an entry card and fill it out.

In addition, there will be a panel on Saturday April 2nd in room 104 at 11am where series creator Pendleton Ward and Cartoon Network director of original series Curtis Lelash will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the network's hit show and an exclusive preview of an upcoming episode. Fans who attend can ask questions and participate in the trivia challenge to win Adventure Time prizes.

Oni Press at Wondercon

Check out Oni Press at Booth # 601 at Wondercon April 1-3. They will be giving out a Special Collectible Poster from the upcoming Art Book for Summit Entertainment's The Darkest Hour. The full art book will debut later this year.

"The special Wondercon poster is 11 x 17 and features an image of destruction at the Taj Mahal, with 2 soldiers from opposite sides of a centuries-long conflict fighting together as the last men standing against the unseen alien invaders. The Limited Edition poster is illustrated by Brian Hurtt an colored by Bill Crabtree."

Super7 at Wondercon

Party Ball & Garuru

Super7 will be at Booth #734. Super7 will be releasing 2 new Monster Family figures. Paul Kaiju's Great Mazinger Tribute Party Ball and Itokin Park's Clear Strawberry Garuru. Will be available starting tomorrow April 1st at Wondercon, Super7 Store and Online for $30 each.

Gama-Go Wondercon Beer Fest

Gama-Go is having an awesome Beer Fest at their SOMA store Thursday, March 31st from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. To celebrate the start of Wondercon there will be beer, door prizes and and everything will be 25% off.

Uglydoll at Wondercon

This is also Uglydoll's 1st year at Wondercon. Not sure if there will be any show specials or exclusives but you can meet one of the creators, David Horvath at his signing on Saturday April 2nd from 12pm-2pm. Stop by Booth # 629.

Kidrobot at Wondercon

This is Kidrobot's 1st year at Wondercon. Kidrobot will have 50 of the SOLD OUT Huck Gee Skullhead Dunnys for sale. Huck Gee will also be signing on Saturday April 2nd from 12pm-2pm. Make sure to stop by Booth #732.

This is Marvel's 1st year at Wondercon. You can find Marvel at booth #801. They will have a Variant Cover of the Uncanny X-MEN #534 by Giuseppe Camuncoli. This Variant Cover will only be sold at Wondercon and while supplies last.

PEANUTS - Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown!

Boom! Studios will also have a Special Edition Signed and Numbered copy of Peanuts Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown! comic book available on Saturday April 2nd from 2PM-4PM during the signing with Bob Scott & Vicki Scott. This is Extremely Limited to 100 Editions. Boom! Studios will be at Booth #415.

UPDATE: Wondercon 2011 Exclusives From Mai Hiro x Nakanari x Kuso Vinyl

If you're going Wondercon this coming Friday, Saturday or Sunday (4/1 - 4/3), make sure to stop by Kuso Vinyl's Booth #736 to check out the Exclusive Spikiemon & Spiki Chisaii figures. They will also be selling some Ninja Spiki Plush Keychain and Mai Hiro PVC Keychains. Also on display will be a Spikiemon Custom. More Wondercon Exclusives from Aspen Comics & Blamo Toys

We have 2 more companies who will have exclusives for Wondercon 2011 - April 1-3 @ The Moscone Center South. 

First we have Aspen Comics @ Booth #409  with their exclusive Charismagic #1 featuring a Wondercon Exclusive Cover. Limited to 500 copies.

Fur Munch

Drilbot

Next we have 2 exclusives from Blamo Toys and they can be found at the Five and Diamond Booth # 1230. Their First exclusive is called Fur Munch made from hand sewn sheep fur, a solid cast brass mouth and taxidermy eyes. The 2nd exclusive is Drilbot which a hand carved wooden robot designed by Leighton Kelly which was released last year's Wondercon. This year Drilbot has a special paint job by Bay Area Artist Drilone.

Unfortunately, no prices have been announced yet for any of these exclusives.

eigoMANGA At Wondercon

eigoMANGA will be at booth # 1430 at Wondercon, April 1-3 20110.

They will be showing a showcase of their original animation such as the feature length movie Demian.

The final issue of the Danity Kane Comic Book Mini Series makes its debut.

Meet some of the creators such as Dahveed Kolodny-Nagy who is the creator of Mad Beanz, David Karrow (Alpha League), Jeff Loew (The Frog Princess).

In addtion to new releases and meeting creators, they will also be having a Portfolio Review so if you want to show your skills you can.

eigoMANGA will be accepting donations on behalf of Doctors Without Borders for the Japan Earthquake & Tsunami relief efforts.

eigoMANGA is also offering free electronic editions of the manga graphic novel Sakura Pakk Versus Rumble Pak with every online donation of $5 or more.

Wondercon Release - Kuso Vinyl x Nakanari Spikiemon Figure

Wondercon Exclusives

Wondercon is just a bit under 2 weeks away now. Wondercon has posted up on their website a few of the exclusives that will be at the show. In case you don't feel like clicking the link to see the exclusives yourselves, below are pics and info of what's listed so far.

First up is a Kobe Bryant Vinyl Figure by Mindstyle and Cool Rain. Kobe is in his away jersey. These will be at the Action Figure Xpress (AFX) Booth #709. The figure stands 5" tall and will retail for $17 (tax included).

Next is from BOOM! Studios, Booth #415 which is a Cars "Get A Sketch" Variant Cover. Kaboom! Artist Travis Hill will be sketching your favorite Cars Characters right before you. Price is unknown at this time.
