the ultimate Comic-Con exclusive: the FORT PSYCHO “COMIC IN A CAN”!
Not a hoax! Not a psyop! Priced at just $25 and limited to only 250
copies made, this is a fully functional, resealable can that includes
“SARDINES,” an exclusive, 16-page mini-comic (6" x 4”) featuring a
brand-new FORT PSYCHO short story by New York Times best-selling writer Matt Kindt (BRZRKR, Mind MGMT) and hard-charging artist Brian Hurtt (The Sixth Gun) set before the events of FORT PSYCHO #1!* AND THAT’S JUST THE TIP OF THIS (CAN-SHAPED) ICEBERG! Also included inside: A full-sized, souvenir bumper sticker (11" x 3") commemorating the deep and indelible impact that the upcoming release of FORT PSYCHO #1 (on sale August 5th) is sure to have on your central nervous system! A forward operating battalion of pacifist pink army men for you to play with back in your hotel room! Wait, your can has a 1:5 chrome army man? Then you WIN a free (and equally shiny) MIND MGMT: NEW & IMPROVED #1 BLIND BAG! Got a 1:50 gold army man? Then you WIN a hand-painted MIND MGMT: NEW & IMPROVED #1 ORIGINAL ART SKETCH COVER by Matt Kindt! Already
feeling the pull of “COMIC IN A CAN” fever? Us, too … and there’s only
way to stop it: By visiting PSYCHO MART inside the Oni Press booth (#1829) at San Diego Comic-Con to put your all-American sense of consumerism to the test. Better yet: Get it signed! Series creators Matt Kindt and Brian Hurtt
will be appearing as special guests of Oni Press and signing throughout
the weekend, so there will be plenty of opportunities to watch two
tenured comics veterans figure out how to apply their signatures to a
three-dimensional cylinder. And that’s just the story picks up where the “COMIC IN A CAN” left off on August X in FORT PSYCHO #1 (of 12) – the brand-new, ticking time bomb of comic book firepower from master storytellers Matt Kindt and Brian Hurtt detonating this summer with covers by Hurtt, Lewis LaRosa (Punisher MAX), Inaki Miranda (We Live), David Rubin (Black Hammer), Kyle Starks (Wrestle Heist, Kill Them All), and Dustin Weaver (Avengers, Infinity)! | |

Ten
years ago, the nation of Singapore sank into the Pacific Ocean. The
underground terrorist network known as The Seven Seals took credit for
the largest act of terror in human history. In the aftermath, the United
Nations created a strike team of highly trained covert operatives with
one mission: locate, identify, and eliminate The Seven Seals' secretive
leader. The team's clandestine affairs were to always remain in the
shadows – until their final, explosive confrontation with The Seven
Seals resulted in a large-scale tragedy too bloody to cover up and too
tragic to ignore.
Disgraced
and disavowed by the governments that trained them, the world's most
dangerous secret agents have been convicted for their crimes and
sentenced to serve time side-by-side in the one place capable of holding
them: their old island headquarters, Fort Cyclone – now known in the
media by the derogatory nickname "Fort Psycho." And that’s where the
official story is about to go terribly, terribly wrong.
Don’t miss FORT PSYCHO #1! You’ve been warned.
* Are you the kind of guy or gal who plans ahead? Then you surely ordered the FORT PSYCHO #1-12 PRE-ORDER BONUS BUNDLE … which means you’ll be receiving FORT PSYCHO #0, which will also include a reprint of “SARDINES” alongside two other short stories by Kindt & Hurtt. Congrats on being ahead of the game, soldier!
