Sac-Con - Sacramento's Comic, Toy & Anime Show

Sac-Con is Sunday, September 30th at Sacramento's Scottish Rite Center. For those of you that love Adventure Time & Teen Titans, Hynden Walch who is the voice of Princess Bubblegum as well as Starfire & Blackfire will be in attendance. Tens of thousands of comic, horror, gaming, sci-fi and pop-culture enthusiasts from all over Southern California will fill up the Los

Angeles Convention Center for an up-close look at Los Angeles’ largest pop-culture convention owned by comic legend Stan Lee and

horror icon Elvira. Fans will enjoy panel discussions, hundreds of vendors, celebrity appearances, interactive zombie obstacle course,

Harry Potter-style Quidditch Tournament, movie screenings and more.

STORY ANGLES INCLUDE:

·         Celebrity Appearances – Stan Lee, Elvira, Norman Reedus (The Walking  Dead), Adam West, Burt Ward & Julie Newmar, Linda Blair, Thomas Jane, Lou Ferrigno, Todd McFarlane and many more will greet fans and pose for photos throughout the weekend

·         Daniel Tosh PREMIERE:  Daniel will debut his new animated show "Brickleberry" - one week before it airs on Comedy Central

Designer Con 2012 Tickets Available NOW!

Designer Con 2012 takes place in Pasadena, November 3rd from 9am-6pm. Tickets are on sale now for $5!!! Buy your tickets HERE. $7 at the door. No goodies bags this year but they will be selling reusable Designer Con bags. A few events taking place will be the return of the Suckathon . There will also be a Super Suck Up custom show and The Sucklord Retrospective Art Show A Losing Proposition: 2004-2012 by DKE Toys. Oh and of course the World Biggest Blind Box Time and they want to break last year's record of 133. Check their site out constantly for updates on exclusives, events, exhibitors etc...

World Of Dance Bay Area 2012 Recap

World Of Dance Bay Area 2012 broke a new attendance record! Over 4000+ attended. The Bay Area came out and represented!!! Lines were super long for the Meet n Greet & all the food stands. Everyone was in line waiting to meet Mos Wanted Crew & Chachi !!!  There were giveaways from LRG (foam hands & towels) that was thrown into the crowds near the main stage. There were quite a few vendors as well besides the Official WOD/MWC Merchandise selling their latest t-shirts etc...

One of the highlights of the evening was that we got to meet Chubbs!!!

World Of Dance Tour 2012 Hits The Bay Area August 18th

World f Dance Tour 2012 is coming to the Bay Area, Saturday, August 18th at the Solano County Fairgrounds. Show starts at 3PM. Farewell 2011, Hello 2012

How fitting would it be to end 2011 with more toys? Thanks to Lulubell, a package was delivered with Grody toys today. Grody has made some of our favorite toys this year.

Was thinking about doing a top 10 of the best toys/companies of the year but it was way to difficult to decide so nixed that and besides everyone has their own picks depending on what they collect. We'd definitely say this was a very, very good year for sofubi toys despite the earthquake/tsunami that hit Japan this past March. Some of our favorite toys were by Chima Group, Refreshment, Uamou, Paul Kaiju, Splurrt, Grody Shogun, MVH, Monster Worship, Max Toy, Itokin Park, Super7, Gargamel, RxH, Bwana Spoons, Le Merde etc..... (too many to list).

Thank you to all the artists/companies for making awesome toys even though our wallets dislike you lol!
