HOT TOYS' ANAKIN SKYWALKER

Just ahead of the figure's worldwide release, Sideshow's newest UNBOXING VIDEO gives fans an up-close look at Hot Toys' latest Star Wars™ collectible — the deluxe special edition Anakin Skywalker™ & STAP set...

The B’omarr Monastery™ (hidden deep within the Teth™ jungle) served as a hideout for the Separatist Alliance kidnappers of Rotta the Huttlet™, along with Asajj Ventress™and a battalion of battle droids. 

Led by Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano™, Republic troops staged a daring rescue mission to save the hostage Huttlet. Under heavy fire, Anakin took command of a STAP™, and disposed of the battle droids with his lightsaber, clearing a path for the clone troopers™ to reach the summit.

 

This highly detailed collectible figure draws inspiration from Anakin Skywalker's appearance in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars™. Merging Hot Toys' signature ultra-detailed style with the Clone Wars animated design, the figure features a hand-painted head, a tailored fabric costume, and sculpted armor. Accessories include Anakin's lightsaber (with LED light-up feature), a thermal detonator, a hologram projector, several hologram figures representing Ahsoka Tano, Yoda™, and Obi-Wan Kenobi™, and more!

The accompanying STAP vehicle stands approximately 12.59" (32 cm) in height, and features phenomenal paint application with specially applied weathering effects. The drive turbines include LED light-up functions, and every detail — including the articulated grip, the foot pedals, and the steering vane — is faithfully reproduced in 1/6 scale.

Deadpool's Dream Suite & Deadpool's Super Duper Dance Party

Deadpool had a huge comic con presence this year. Not only did they have a booth inside that featured Deadpool's Super Duper Dance Party (Dance Party Action towards the bottom of this post) but they had giveaways and the Deadpool Dream Suite which one lucky fan got to spend a night in. This was a pretty big promotion for Deadpool 2 which will be released on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, August 21st.

Only a select few con goers won the chance to check out Deadpool's Dream Suite. Only Press/Media were invited to check out Deadpool's Dream Suite before the winner was announced. Deadpool's Dream Suite was inside the Hard Rock Hotel and we were told to get off at a certain floor with a certain room number to go to. The picture above is the door to Deadpool's Dream Suite.

STARZ RELEASES INSIDE LOOK VIDEO OF “ASH VS EVIL DEAD”

 

Beverly Hills, Calif., August 25, 2015 – STARZ today released a new inside look video into the world of the highly anticipated Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead” (premiering on Saturday, October 31 at 9 PM ET/PT).  This comes on the heels of the official red-band trailer that was digitally released this weekend and features never-before-seen scenes.

The 10-episode first season of the half-hour series is executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, the original filmmakers, and Craig DiGregorio who serves as executive producer and showrunner. “Ash vs Evil Dead,” is the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film The Evil Dead. 

Evolution 2 Recap

Evolution 2 was held on Saturday, June 13th 2015 at Pier 70 in San Francisco, CA. Above is a video with over 500 pictures. (Apologies for those trying to view the pics in the slideshow. For some reason the slideshow was not working properly.) To view individual pics, check out our album HERE. Attendees were in line hours before the show opened. If you had purchased your tickets in advanced online or through a retailer you were able to get into the show at 12PM (Noon) which is an hour early. If you waited to buy your tickets on the day of the show, you weren't able to get in until 1PM. Show hours were 1PM-6PM.

There were FREE Matcha (Green Tea) Pocky for attendees which they handed to you once you entered the show.

Evo2 expanded and was bigger than ever. They had multiple stages with various DJs, LA to the Bay Graff Expo, RC Drift Track, Models, Everystep Battle, Raffles, Food Trucks and various vendors.
