Disney Kicks Off Today's "Rogue One" Toy Release with Global Fan Film Contest
Star Wars fans invited to share video shorts celebrating
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” Products Now Available Worldwide
Glendale, Calif. (Sept. 30, 2016) – Creators from across the Maker Studios network joined forces today to celebrate the launch of the new “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”
product line and officially kick off a global fan content contest.
Beginning today, creators across gaming, lifestyle, comedy and family
channels will post #GoRogue videos calling for Star Wars fans to
get creative and share their own ‘Rogue Stories’ as part of the fan
contest celebrating the much anticipated new movie.
“Fans play a special part in Star Wars storytelling,
posting thousands of videos online every day. This contest is a tribute
to all the creativity and passion that fuels Star Wars fandom across generations,” said Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media.

Tsunami Tuna to Premiere at Silicon Valley Comic Con
Tsunami Tuna to premiere at Silicon Valley Comic Con this Friday-Sunday at the Madefire Booth.
"Madefire, the developer of the innovative Motion Book reading platform, and Emerging Talent Creatv, are excited to announce they will be co-hosting free screenings of the newly-completed "Tsunami Tuna: Free Billy," an adult-oriented animated short, during SVCC. This 3-D comedy features the exploits of Tsunami Tuna, a giant radioactive tuna and his sidekick, RAD, an ex-Navy weaponized albino dolphin. Their adventures include recruiting Billy, a marine mammal theme park escapee, to join their "fish army" and stop man's destruction of the world's oceans. All while being pursued by a crazed, one-eyed Russian sea captain. There is a current Motion Book series on the backstory of RAD the sidekick, available on all Madefire apps and web."

“RILEY’S FIRST DATE?” MAKES ITS WORLD PREMIERE – Pixar Animation Studios heads back inside the mind with an all-new short. “Riley’s First Date?” made its world premiere this afternoon at D23 EXPO 2015. Director Josh Cooley, along with “Inside Out” filmmakers Pete Docter (“Up,” “Monsters, Inc.”) and Jonas Rivera (“Up”), introduced the short, which revisits Riley, now 12, who is hanging out with her parents at home when potential trouble comes knocking. Mom’s and Dad’s Emotions find themselves forced to deal with “Riley’s First Date?” The short will be included as a bonus feature in the digital HD & Blu-ray releases of Disney·Pixar’s “Inside Out,” which will be available digitally Oct. 13 and on Blu-ray Nov. 3, 2015.

Superman 75th Anniversary Celebration Animated Short
"This is the Superman 75th Anniversary Celebration animated short that premiered at New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 12. The short is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, in conjunction with DC Entertainment. Producers are "Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder and animation guru Bruce Timm."
