Spoke Art is thrilled to return to the San Diego Comic Con later this month! Join us at Booth 4900 where we'll be debuting some brand new limited edition prints, alongside a curated selection of rare and sold out editions from our archives.

Neopets Hosts Fantastic Booth and Exclusive Party at San Diego Comic-Con!

Los Angeles, CA - (June 21, 2023) Neopets, the original virtual pet site that galvanized a generation of online gamers, is about to make waves at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con! Neopets is not only bringing a fantastic booth to San Diego: they’ll also be celebrating their devoted community with a once-in-a-lifetime Neopets Era Party that the Neopian Times will be writing about for decades to come!

Neopets will be setting up shop at San Diego Comic-Con from Wednesday, July 19th to Sunday, July 23rd at booth #1129. Attendees can purchase exclusive, never-before-seen merchandise, meet The Neopets Team, purchase bespoke art prints signed by a TNT artist, and connect with special guest Erinn Pascal, Editor of Neopets: The Official Cookbook. And for one night only, lucky fans will have an exclusive chance to experience Neopia like never before at the Neopets Era Party, an immersive community event at Deck665 on Friday, July 21st.

The fully immersive throwback bash will time warp back to an era when dial-up internet, chat rooms and the Neoboards reigned supreme. Come party with The Neopets Team and connect with other fans in person as we celebrate the past, present, and future of Neopets with a live DJ, Neopian-themed food and drinks, photo-ops, and swag bags full of exclusive merch! General admission tickets can be picked up at the Neopets booth, but a select number of VIP Tickets will be available to win—giveaway details coming soon. Capacity is limited and general admission tickets will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis.

Neopets Era Party attendees can expect an authentic Neopian experience, complete with a sneak preview of what’s in store for the future of Neopets:

DesignerCon 2015 Recap!!!

DesignerCon has come and gone but what an AMAZING show this year! The turnout for DCon this year was insane. We've been attending DCon since it was Vinyl Toy Network/Qeeology. We usually take breaks back to the parking garage to unload etc... and usually there are still spaces but boy were we wrong this year. Instead, we would get stalked by other cars hoping that we would leave which we eventually shattered their parking dreams when we would tell them we weren't leaving. This happened not just on Saturday but on Sunday as well. Walking in certain areas of the exhibit hall felt a bit like SDCC. There were more vendors this year. Every space utilized. The Stage moved to another area outside the exhibit hall.

This Kickstarter is by Shawn Smith aka Shawnimals / Ninjatown / Resketch. Beer Idols: Your favorite styles personified as art prints is looking for funding of  $4500.

"Beer Idols – living embodiments of 12 well-known, distinct beer styles in the form of full-color 5 x 7-inch art prints, masterfully printed, trimmed, and packed by the fine folks at Static Medium in Los Angeles."

The prints are 5x7 giclee and there 12 different prints. You can buy one,two etc... for $20 each or you can buy the whole set for $200. These prints are open run and not limited edition.

Los Angeles based artist Joe Ledbetter is packing his bags and heading to the Cotton Candy Machine in Brooklyn, NY for his 2-man exhibition with famed artist and illustrator Nathan Jurevicious (scarygirl.com). For his part Joe will be presenting 9 new paintings, an exciting new print set, and a uniquely customized inflatable unicorn (what was he thinking?!).
