July 18, 2023 – CBS Studios returns to San Diego Comic-Con, featuring screenings, exclusive content, activations, booths and more. Attendees will have the chance to find out their destiny at the “Ghosts” Woodstone Mansion on the convention floor, collect exclusive pins and posters from their favorite Star Trek series, and a chance to win prizes! STAR TREK Universe in Hall H. As previously announced by Paramount+, the fan-favorite STAR TREK universe returns to San Diego Comic-Con, featuring exclusive reveals and surprises from upcoming and current seasons of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS, and STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS. Fans in attendance will also be the first to see the highly anticipated STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS and STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS crossover episode with a special Hall H premiere screening! CBS’ GHOSTS to Take Over San Diego in a Hauntingly Delightful Immersive Activation

As part of a summer long bridge campaign celebrating TV’s #1 comedy, CBS continues its "Summer of Ghosts" activation at San Diego’s Comic Con honoring Pete and Friends by bringing to life Pinecone Trooper Pete’s “Friend Zone.” 

WHO: CBS presents “Summer of Ghosts,” a delightful immersive campaign in honor of the “recently departed” first season of the CBS Original series Ghosts – and its upcoming sophomore season this fall. Throughout the summer, muli-city in-person events and unique Web3 metaverse experiences will celebrate the spirited title characters and living leads of TV’s #1 new comedy. Each character will be honored with a distinctive  “to die for” activations, bringing their individual worlds and stories into the here and now with a variety of in-person events, stunts and experiences.

WHAT: GHOSTS will show up in San Diego with Pinecone Trooper Pete’s “Friend Zone,” an activation with a campsite feel in honor of scout leader ghost Pete, whose unfortunate archery accident left him with an arrow through his neck for eternity. The activation will be set up at the Interactive Zone at Petco Park from July 21-24, and will feature a “scare-free” archery activities – but nothing is what it seems at this campsite setup on ‘the lawn’ of The Woodstone Mansion – the show’s setting and home to the ghosts.  Fans can connect with Ghosts and ‘the other side’ through psychic mediums and programming that’ll give attendees insight into their past, present, and future lives.  An in-person special screening honoring the spirited title characters and the living leads of TV’s #1 comedy will be held Thursday July 21st, at 7:30pm.
