Fans will step into a post-apocalyptic world filled with bumper-to-bumper chaos at Peacock's Twisted Metal Bumper Battle. As an homage to the Twisted Metal tournament at the forefront of season two, fans will be able to choose their ride, featuring the show’s most iconic vehicles reimagined as bumper cars, and take part in their own version of the Calypso hosted derby. In addition to the bumper car experience, fans can expect epic photo ops, a display of some of the tournament cars featured in the series, surprise and delight moments, and pandemonium around every corner.

AMC NETWORKS HEADS TO SAN DIEGO COMIC CON

 

AMC Networks announced today its lineup of five star-studded series panels at this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA, including the Walking Dead Universe series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol and The Walking Dead: Dead City; the Anne Rice Immortal Universe series Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire and Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches; and the final season of Snowpiercer. Fans will get an exclusive first-look at trailers and teases from the highly anticipated second seasons of Dead City and Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol, which premieres on Sunday, September 29 on AMC and AMC+. Attendees will be treated to an advance screening of the second episode of Snowpiercer’s final season, followed by a panel with cast and executive producers. Additionally, the casts and creative teams from Interview with the Vampire, which was recently renewed for a third season, and Mayfair Witches, returning early next year, will discuss their respective series and debut new teases. AMC Networks will also present a special advanced screening of Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol on Friday, July 26 at the Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero.

Last week we had the opportunity to check out the Disney Infinity Next event which also featured a screening of Disney's Zootopia before it was released in theaters. We were supposed to watch a Disney Infinity Next Video that was released on their YouTube Channel earlier that day but they were having technical difficulties. The screening – on Thursday July 18, 2013, at 5:20pm – will take place at Marriott Hall 2, Marriott Marquis & Marina, which is next door to the San Diego Convention Center. Immediately following, there will be a discussion about the film with producers, Austin Osueke and Jongmin Shin.

'Padak' is a 78 minute animated film from director and writer Lee Dae Hee, and the first from his new venture, E-Dehi Animation. The film about the lives of fish in captivity in a seafood restaurant. Director Edgar Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite for a third film following the successes "Shaun of the Dead" (2004) and "Hot Fuzz" (2007). In "The World's End," 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub - The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.
