LEGO and Disney Debut Spectacular Stop-Motion Animation Retelling of 'Cars'

In celebration of Cars 3 coming to DVD on Nov. 7, Disney today released Cars As Told By LEGO, the newest episode of its popular digital series produced in collaboration with LEGO. Watch as Lightning McQueen makes his LEGO debut in a charming, 3-minute, stop-motion animation video — narrated through the eyes of a youngster. 

In spectacular stop-motion animation, the video above details Lightning McQueen's devastating defeat to Jackson Storm and his return to Radiator Springs to put his life (and LEGO parts) back together again. The retelling includes recreations of iconic scenes from the film, including meeting his trainer Cruz Ramirez, training at the demolition derby and McQueen’s epic final race.

Mattel Announces 3 More SDCC 2014 Exclusives

Mattel just announce 3 more SDCC 2014 Exclusive. They announced the Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile for $85.

"The tires can do a complete 360-degree spin, allowing the vehicle to turn on a dime… very handy for pursuing villains. When the top of the vehicle is pressed downward the firepower is revealed: on the left side, a riot suppressor rubber bullet gun, and on the right side, a high-powered Gatling gun, both with sounds and light effects – straight from the game! Ever just walk down the toy aisle at a store and you randomly find something totally unexpected? We did just that. We found The Mystery Machine and an Angry Bird Red Bird Hot Wheels. Both are new for 2012.

SDCC 2012 Haul: Mattel x Disney Pixar Cars 2 Mater

Mattel x Disney Pixar Cars 2 Mater in a Tokyo Bathroom getting a bath?

Mater is supposedly getting a bath which is from a scene in Cars 2. Somehow the bubbles or soap makes him look weird. This was probably the weirdest toy purchased. Looks like he has a disease. The execution of the bubbles / soap suds was very poor. It also has working lights inside too. You have to pull out a tab underneath in order for it to work.

Disney Announces Cars Spin-off - PLANES

Disney announced yesterday that "Planes" a Spin-off of Cars will be a Direct to Blue Ray/DVD in 2013. It will be produced by DisneyToon Studios in Canada. Looking forward to hearing more details about this.
